I've had a 5" Xyron creative station for over a decade. The answer is a resounding YES to all five questions. My machine is compatible with the creative station refill cartridge.
Hello! Yes, the new 9" Creative Station with the 5" option will fit it!
Because the adhesive will not stick to the laminate, you cannot use the double laminate cartridge to laminate both sides and then apply adhesive to the back. The laminate/adhesive cartridge could be used to apply laminate to the front and adhesive to the back. The 5102- cartridge is the item you're looking for. 00ML.
No, our Creative Station machines do not perform the same functions as a Cricut machine; instead, they are designed to produce stickers. It is not capable of cutting, stamping, or printing.

I've become addicted to my Happy Planner, but the amount of money I spent on sticker books surprised me. After some research, I decided that I would rather make my own, so I bought this. I got mine secondhand, so I didn't have high expectations. I wish the directions were clearer, and like one reviewer, I watched a few YouTube videos to see how this was supposed to work. It does assist me in achieving my goals. In addition to printing photos of family and pets to decorate my planner and other items, glossy magazines have a lot of pictures that can be turned into stickers. I also experimented with fabric scraps, which proved to be successful! Because the glue is water soluble, I wouldn't use them on clothing unless I stitched them in place. Fabric stickers make a unique addition to card making and other artistic embellishments. This is the best option for me when it comes to personalized stickers.
I have a lot of Xyron scrapbooking supplies that I use on a regular basis. I went through my orders and discovered that I have a 1 1/2" and a 2 1/2" Create-it-yourself project. Sticker, as well as the Creative Stations in sizes of 5", 9", and 12". Oh, my goodness! br>br>As a result, I now have a 5" and 3" Creative Station Lite, which is more streamlined and user-friendly than the previous models. The cartridge slides into the machine, and you're good to go as long as the end comes out the front through the rollers. It comes with a 5" permanent adhesive cartridge and also accepts 3" cartridges, which is a nice feature. Separately available cartridges include repositionable, laminate, and laminate/magnet. The 3" is ideal for making small embellishments such as stickers. I used a laminate/magnet cartridge to make a Minnie magnet, trimmed it with an exacto knife, and hung it on the fridge. )br>br>I use this machine for scrapbooking on a regular basis. It's a priceless tool that's far nicer, easier, and cleaner than gluing. In my craft room, this is a must-have item.
I run a small business and use these machines to produce stickers and magnets for my clients. This machine was delivered in a ripped bx that had to be taped back together. When I opened it, the sticker cartridge inside was completely unraveled and stuck around the spindel of the base unit, containing an Ace of Diamonds playing card. Cutting and peeling the sticker material off the base unit took hours, literally. I needed it for a vendor show that night, or I would have returned it right away. I took my time and eventually unhooked the cartridge from the base; however, it never worked properly, and the cartridges do not fit properly and are difficult or impossible to replace. I've switched to using the magnet cartridge as magnet sheets without the base unit. It's pointless to use the sticker cartridge. This is something I strongly advise you to avoid buying. Your money would be better spent if you threw it out the window.
I got my machine, and I really like it, but I had to look up how to use it properly online. In the box and on the box, there were no instructions. I needed more information about the tape refill size, how to switch between sizes, how to start the tape, and how to save material. Alternatively, you could have simply directed the buyer to a YouTube channel where they could learn more about their purchase.
I haven't tried the other cartridges yet, but the permanent adhesive appears to be very effective. It is, without a doubt, indefinite. The most significant disadvantage is that it leaves a sticky residue around the edges, which I find bothersome because I want something that looks and feels professional. I've discovered that pressing around the edges of your image a little before removing the plastic covering helps to prevent some of this problem.
Pre- After cutting vs. before cutting: It's much easier to stick your image/label/etc. if it's already cut and ready to go. However, you're still left with a sticky residue. If you cut after applying adhesive, you avoid the sticky edges, but you'll have a hard time removing the backing and risk splitting the paper (if you're using it). br>Overall, a decent product that is best suited to personal use. Other options should be considered if you want a more professional result.
I purchased a used machine because the price had increased since the last time I added it to my cart; it arrived on time, but the roll inside was jammed, and it took me a few minutes to figure out how to unjam it. Aside from that, the machine is in perfect working order, and the adhesive is excellent. I also purchased a laminate/adhesive refill roll, and I was extremely pleased with the results of my stickers! If you're looking for something low-cost and simple to use, I strongly suggest this product!.
I was sick of trying to apply the tiniest, most precise amount of glue to the backs of very detailed die cuts in order to adhere them to my cards, and then I heard about this from a card-making friend of a friend, and I couldn't wait for it to arrive. It's simple to use, and the die cuts stick well. Plus, if you glue the piece of cardstock before die cutting it, there's no glue stuck between the pieces. This saves you a lot of time and prevents you from getting glue on your fingers; it's a must-have for card makers!.
