As for the Chief mount, yes, it can be used with it. There is no difference between the 6" and this
There are no plates included in this listing, just the pipe itself
Neither the projector itself nor its mount has anything to do with it. Additional ceiling mounts that fit with your projector are needed. You will only need this item if you want to extend the length of your ceiling mount.
Please note that this is an extension To mount the projector, you will need a ceiling mount. In addition to the short pipe, a longer one can also be fitted to the ceiling mount. At the pipe is a thread.

This was expected to be an easy This is not the case I received a QualGear extension tube that is described as "NPT-" In that it is not tapered, it is "compatible", but does not follow NPT standards. According to the NPT standard, there should be one Male and female threaded ends taper on the 16 taper (male ends narrower and female ends Because the internal diameter and the threading pitch on the extension pipe match, you can thread it into an NPT coupling, but it will block if you thread it in too many turns, because as the male end goes further into the female end, its internal diameter decreases. This results in the extension not fitting properly (it is loose in terms of angle, because it is a straight piece jammed into the cone, so there is some angular freedom) and it cannot be fitted using couplings' set screws (because the screw does not reach
Unfortunately, I have no power to open it, as it appears to be high quality, with a handy cap over the old-style lock In most pipelines of this type, large holes are fashioned (for large plugs). I would have loved to have used it, but it can't be used with the two NPT couplings on my Omnimount holder, so I must.
This is a great replacement for a Chief pipe, I had no issue with the taper on mine.
Pay attention to all the details in the deal description It has a 3" thread instead of a 3" thread, as with the The length of this is 5", with a 1" length of threaded pipe on either side. The neck of this is 3". As a result, three inches of extension are added instead of one.
A mount is not the same as another! Aside from its design, I was also impressed with its build quality. Prior to using the QualGear mount, I used a Chief mount extension, which was lacking the level of finish and fit the QualGear mount had. This machine has excellent powder coating finish, is very well packaged for shipping, and the plastic cable access port is designed to be removable. When I install my next system, I will definitely check out QualGear's offerings.
Getting this for an existing "big name" AV pole was an amazing bargain, but I was afraid I would get a bad product. The pole was going to extend off of an existing "big name" AV As transparent as I am, I expected a thin, soft aluminum pipe that would raise questions about the integrity of my project. In fact, I was STILL shocked and blown away by how well it worked! As well as the suggested coupling, I ordered this extension. It is a solid material! Rather than thin, soft aluminum, this aluminum is well made. I am completely satisfied with this product, and I plan to continue buying QualGear accessories in the future!.
To extend the distance between my projector and the ceiling, I needed a piece of cable that was this long. The mount matches the rest of the mount, so it looks great, and it came pre-assembled So it went on smooth since it was greased. Over some generic pipe I was unable to find at Home Depot, this is definitely the way to go. This extension is perfect for extending your mount! Do yourself a favor and get it!.
The mounting kit we needed for our new projector was precisely what we needed. It works well and is able to hold a hefty projector ok. It looks good and seems to be well made.
The Epson 4010 projector can be held securely.
It has an opening for routing the cables (with cap if you don't need it) and well-grooved threading to ensure that the pipe does not become stuck. Also included is a color instruction manual with clear instruction text, which is rare nowadays.
