These are fantastic clips that work well with pencil condensers, but they should be priced at $5 or less. I recently purchased 8 items for $7 each. I was quite pleased with the value of 66. The other Shure mic clips (for common dynamic microphones) are $5, which is a great product at a great price. I will not be purchasing these clips at the current price of $13, as it is absurd.
Despite the fact that both packages were correctly labeled, one of the two clips I ordered was for the standard SM- 58 body - This is why I gave it a three-star rating. br>br>Aside from that, both clips perform admirably for their intended purposes.
This mic holder isn't designed for the Shure SM81, despite what they claim. You will be disappointed if you purchase this to replace the microphone holder that came with your SM81.
So the microphone doesn't move around, it's a nice tight fit.
This was exactly what I needed, and many of the vendors I contacted didn't even have it listed in their wholesale books from the manufacturer.
I got a great deal on a pair of Samson C02 pencil condenser mics, but they didn't come with mic clips. These are excellent and I now use them on a variety of small condenser mics, including CAD CM17s, Audio Technica ATM10as, and Shure SM81s. Clips are perfect.
I misplaced the clips that came with my SM81s, so I bought a pair of these. They were a perfect fit for the microphones, and I'm happy with my purchase overall.
