Questions & Answers

The adapter simply does not fit my Shure 55sh series ii microphone. It is insufficiently large. Is there a difference between the threads on this model and other 55s?

If "small" means "too short," you can inscew the ring on the adapter to lengthen it. If you mean the adapter diameter, I'm afraid I'm powerless to help. If you bought them in the United States, they should fit.

I'd like to use it with a mixer and a mic stand that weighs around 8 pounds. , do you think this will work with such a heavy load?

If you're looking for a way to support 8 pounds, this is the item for you. , I'd say no; it's fine for mics weighing up to a couple of pounds, but even then, you'll need to double-check everything. Verify that the push pin is securely fastened.

Is it compatible with the Shure SM7B microphone?

Yes, the Shure SM 7B is compatible. I use that as my primary vocal mic. I recommend getting a couple of them because they are very versatile and can be used on a variety of microphones.

Does the adapter with the chrome ring unscrew (5/8 male to 5/8 male, 5/8 male to 3/8 male, etc.) and what size is it? I'm going to use all black instead. ?

It has the same size thread on the top and bottom as a standard microphone stand; it's simply an adapter that allows the microphone to be removed without unscrewing it. I have two that I use with a Shure 55 and Super 55, also known as the Elvis Mike, because it is chrome.

It has a nice appearance, a good fit, and a solid feel to it
5/5

This, along with the On-Demand service, arrived today. My order was for a Stage MS7201CH chrome mic stand. I was really looking forward to putting it together with my Shure Super 55. I didn't have to remove the "star wheel" or the quick release tightening nut from the mic stand. To demonstrate that it fits as it is, I left everything on as it was when I received it. It has a solid feel to it. The issue with these mics is that they slow you down when you want to move around the stage during high-energy songs without dragging the stand around. I'm able to do so because of the quick release. It's comfortable to wear, looks good, and feels like it'll last a long time.

BE CAREFUL PRIOR TO SCREWING ON! I had a hard time getting it to fit on my Shure Super 55 microphone
3/5

It'd catch a little, but it'd be impossible to screw on after that. I double-checked and triple-checked the cross-threading. It wouldn't spin anymore after the first time I got in. I spun it off and felt the locknut catch on something as I did so. A flat spot can be seen on the threads if you look closely.
- Stop if this doesn't screw on easily, or your expensive microphone will be ruined! br>It appears to be a good product, but either quality control is lacking or I received one of the rejected items.

Excellent quality! Atlas LO-compatibility is not available
5/5

These are a more affordable version of the Atlas LO- They're a 2B adapter that does an excellent job. The push button on the units I received isn't as smooth as the Atlas version, but everything else appears to be the same. br>br>There is one thing to keep in mind: Because these adapters are slightly smaller than Atlas units, a female part from this unit will not fit into a male part from an Atlas unit, and vice versa. If you already have a large number of Atlas units in service, don't change them! However, if you're just getting started with these, they're a fantastic option.

The Most Effective Method For Replacing Vintage Mics
5/5

As a result, I've amassed a sizable collection of vintage microphones spanning the late 1930s to the early 1980s. What is the link between all of these things? Because they're designed to be screwed directly onto a mic stand, swapping them out is a pain. Furthermore, the close proximity of the stand mount socket and cable connector can make it difficult to position without causing issues. However, if you have a few of these Quik-Its, you can save a lot of time and effort. Release the adapters and swap them out. These little things are strong, attractive, and most importantly, they WORK. They also provide additional riser space to ensure that the cable does not interfere with the stand or a boom arm, which is fantastic. So, if you have a vintage mic (or one of those modern vintage mic replicas), you'll need this.

For the professional recording studio, this is a huge time saver
5/5

Shockmounts are available for many of our microphones. We didn't want to wear out the threads in the mounts by unscrewing them every time we switched mics, as some of them are quite expensive. br>Works great with the EA87 shockmount and easily holds the first generation Neumann U87. We purchased a second one for our Sony C800-based shockmount. G, and it's also quite good. The best part is that they're all the same, so we can leave one base on a stand and swap out any mount that's connected to the other end of another unit with no problems. We'll be purchasing one for each of our shockmounts and stands.

Love it! I bought a second one for my Theremin
5/5

With a delicate and awkwardly shaped instrument like the Moog Etherwave Theremin, I despised screwing and unscrewing it 13 revolutions on a stand - but this little nubbin has changed my life! I was fiddling with screw threads, afraid of loosening the stand height and sending my instrument crashing to the floor. Voila! Now I can set up and take down in a matter of seconds, confident that my stand fixtures are secure. I bought another for my standing height stand after trying one for seated height. It's only a matter of seconds before you're up and running! It makes me happy every time I set up or take down the tent. (Be aware that it raises the overall height of the stand by a few inches. ) It's not a big deal if you don't need your stand to be at its lowest setting).

If you use these, READ THIS FIRST
4/5

For all of the reasons stated, I adore these. a word of caution: according to a customer who nearly dropped his microphone - I had the same problem, but after a closer look, I discovered thatbr>br> > You must ensure that the locking pin is completely removed. Instead of writing a review, I wrote this as a 'HEADZUP' for other users. These puppies deserve a five-star rating, but I'm giving it a four so that other users can see it.

Adapter for the Magic Mic I have a vintage-looking ribbon microphone with the cord permanently attached at the base, which made screwing it on a stand a chore
5/5

I'd intended to purchase one of these quick disconnects since the first time I used this microphone, but because I only use it in specific situations, I'd forget until I needed it again and wished I'd purchased one. Finally, I was able to obtain one, which proved to be effective. Item was well-made, arrived quickly, and was simple to put together.
