I discovered that I could use my boom mike with a mic clip to attach a light close to the ceiling in my studio for lighting on my videos after failing to find a ceiling mount for lighting. I rigged the light so it would attach without issue once I received it and put it on. It was a huge success. And it only cost me less than $3 to do so. To make things work, you sometimes need to use your imagination. It's a research paper, and it'll arrive quickly. I'm content with my lot in life. I would strongly suggest it.
It appears to work well, but there is one issue. My microphone slipped out due to the glossy and extremely smooth finish. I guess I'll have to get some sandpaper and sand the smooth surface that holds the microphone in place; the spring appears to be strong enough, but the surface is too slippery.
The mic can't be parallel to the floor because of this. On angle, it's still a bit off. This one is better than others I've bought on Amazon, but it doesn't allow you to position the microphone parallel to the ground. It has to be angled in some way. It's also referred to as RUBBER. It's made of vinyl. Returning it isn't worth the effort.
The plastic's quality is questionable, but it's held up well in my experience and with a lot of use.
This will suffice for our wireless microphone, which we like to mount on a stand and measures 35mm (approximately 1. 25 inches). The diameter is 40". I bought two copies in case one breaks or we need to use it on a different stand; it's a good deal at less than $4 per copy.
The release is very simple and convenient.
Excellent value for money!.
