After years of using gear keepers, I decided to branch out and try something new. Because there's no leash whipping the microphone around on bumps, I'm a big fan of the mic assistant. It also included a variety of mounting hardware. I used a straight bar and secured it to the headliner with screws. Love it.

The top swivel with the clip broke after less than a year.
The mic retractor is very nice!.
Very good and dependable product that makes reaching for the mic a lot easier while keeping your attention on the road.
She was quick to return. Only a rope stopper, such as a clamp, is required.
It has been a year since I purchased it, and it is still in excellent condition. Plus, it's a lot nicer to look at than black plastic.
