Questions & Answers
Hello, the clip opens to about 1 1/2 inches when fully extended, but be careful not to overextend it. The "clip" will come loose from the track, sending the clip, as well as the small individual pieces, flying. On one of my gigs, this happened to me. not fun! The gooseneck is about 6 inches long and can be spun up and down in the holder to adjust the length. br>When it comes to working on a flute, the clip is designed to catch on the rim of a drum. Knowing a little about flutes, I'm not sure how or where it would connect to one. br>Wishing you all the best.
Is the bottom of your wood hoop flat? There must be something to grab at the top and bottom of these. If you want, I can send you a close-up photo.

Years ago, I purchased a pair for my Toms. I needed a fourth for my Floor Tom, and I was delighted to discover that these were still available. These clips have made a big impression on me. The microphones do not move and are very sturdy. Because I'm already using Audix microphones, the name is the same as the clips. Other microphones can, however, be used with them. I haven't tried them with larger microphones like the Sure or AKG, or any other larger microphones. I'm writing this review based on my experience with the audix fusion series of microphones. For me, they're ideal. The clip's tension is excellent as well, ensuring that it does not come loose. Stunning footage.
I own a sound company and needed this product to eliminate the hassle of maintaining mic stands. It sounds great on snares, but not so much on toms. Most drum kits, especially those for beginners, do not have complex tom suspension systems like some high-end kits. Gretch drums, Tama drums, and even old Pdp drums have different suspension systems on toms that don't allow for this D-ring to be attached. (EXAMPLE: VIOLENCE) .
This is fantastic. It's unusual for a rim clip to allow you to position your mic in so many different ways.
It can pretty much do anything you want. I've already broken a mic clip and am having trouble keeping the gooseneck in place. However, I still think these are great.
Well-designed and appropriate for all types of microphones and drums.
I returned it because it was extremely difficult to install on the musical equipment.
The best part of this clip is how flexible it is. It's a rigid gooseneck rod that can hold almost anything and doesn't vibrate too much. br>And then there's the worst part: the rim clip itself, which does not offer a secure connection. br>However, there is a competing product on the market - With a sucky rod, you can attach the LP Claw to any drums, percussion, or stands you can think of. When you combine them, you get the ultimate heavy-metal combo. flexible clip for heavy-duty applications.
