How Our Score Is Calculated

Product Description

VIBRATION and RESONANCE ARE TO BE REDUCED. Up to 95 percent can be absorbed. Hudson Hi-Fi’s Isolation Feet offer an effective solution for optimizing the true sound of stereo equipment with a 32 of vibration and resonance. All sensitive equipment benefits from the use of isolation feet, which effectively reduce vibration.
PRECISION IS KEY. The Platinum Silicone composite developed by Hudson Hi-Fi is intended to target sub and supersonic micro-vibrations in order to reduce resonance and improve sound quality.
ARE THERE ANY SPECIFICATIONS? Shore A has a durometer of 50. 60-100 LBS can be supported by four feet. Temperature resistance ranges from -40°C to 240°C.
LONG-LASTING Simply place it beneath the isolated component you want to isolate. Silicone keeps its shape and doesn't degrade over time, and it doesn't leave a black residue behind!
Speakers, subwoofers, turntables, and other audio equipment benefit greatly from vibration isolation. Enhances the sound by tightening the bass.

Questions & Answers

Is it better to put these on the turntable or on the platform? Or would it be better to buy a second set and do both?

They're a little rigid. I'd start with just under the turntable, and if that's not enough, get another set for the platform.

Which measurements do you have for high and low? What is the name of the team? trae cinta doble cara trae cinta doble cara trae cinta do ?

The measurements are 4cm high by 6cm wide. Please do not bring a double-cara cinta with you.

To double-check the height, the description specifies 1. Height is 37 inches, but the photos show 1. 5 inches. Is it possible for someone to confirm the exact height?

Mine stand at 1 1/2 inches in height.

Is it possible to put these in a pickup truck?

You could give it a shot, but I wouldn't recommend it because the speakers aren't glued or secured. The speaker would most likely topple over if a truck or car passed by. They appear to be for use in the home. But why use them in a truck, you might wonder?

The reverberation of the walls ceased
5/5

Because of their superior vibration absorption and durability, I prefer Hudson HiFi pads to sorbothane pads. Despite the fact that Hudson's products are aimed at turntable and CD player users, I used Hudson products to isolate my speakers and sub. I had never used my stands without pads before, so I immediately put these on. I think they add to the aesthetic, but I'm not sure how they changed the sound when compared to no pads or the basic provided pads. However, I recall a time when the submarine didn't have Hudson feet. When the sub vibrated against the wood floor, it would dance and make a humming sound. Wood screws held plastic feet in place with a smidgeon of soft material for the shoe in the original design. A spike-accepting thread ran through the inside of the foot. Rather than attempting to determine the thread size and purchasing spikes and spike shoes, I chose to replace the feet with Hudson Bigfoots. As a result, my walls and wood floor have a very low resonant frequency. I now have to rely on my ears popping to tell me when the sub volume is turned up too loudly. It's pretty insane. br>br>One disadvantage of using the Bigfoot for sub feet was that, unlike the Hudson Hemisphere, it did not come with adhesive. I haven't even applied any adhesive. Despite this, the sub remains stationary, and the feet beneath it do not move. If the feet were attached, repositioning the sub would be a lot easier, but the current situation is about the same as repositioning with spikes and spike shoes. SVS SoundPath or Auralex SubDude may be better options as sub feet for ease of sorbothane repositioning. The Bigfoot was both inexpensive and effective for my needs.

I was rescued from my obnoxious neighbors
5/5

For vibration reduction, this product is highly recommended. In an attempt to appease my next-door neighbor, I ordered these. Because I live in an apartment, I don't listen to music loudly, but my next-door neighbor complains about the stereo. I put these under my Martin Logan Motion 60 speakers and on stands, and I haven't received any complaints since. Because the music can't be felt as much, the isolators reduce sound quality slightly, but it still sounds crisp. It's worth it to keep things quiet. These are excellent for reducing sound vibrations. For some high-quality speakers, this is a quick and inexpensive fix.

That is not the case for me
3/5

I live in an older house with squeaky hardwood floors, so I hear a lot of footsteps as people walk by. I put my turntable on a slab of granite, which helped a lot, but there was still some noise, so I tried these, which I thought would help, but they actually made it worse. br>br>I'm sure they work fine for other people, as evidenced by the other reviews, but they didn't for me, so I sent them back.

Sub Isolation is a simple and cost-effective method
5/5

These massive silicone slabs do exactly what they're supposed to do. It's difficult to come up with anything else to say. I didn't feel the need to use any adhesive because the weight of the sub, combined with the small amount of give in the feet, meant that there was immediate all-around contact between the sub and the feet, as well as between the feet and my hardwood floor. br>br>I'm not a huge bass fan / freak / head / whatever the kids on the street call it these days, but I do use a sub to make up for the lack of bass in my speakers. The bass was no longer a sloppy smeary wad of low frequencies, and vibration and transfer to the floor were gone in an instant. The sub sounded much tighter, and the bass was no longer a sloppy smeary wad of low frequencies. For the sake of curiosity, I increased the volume and changed the crossover on the sub to see what these feet would happily absorb, and they did a fantastic job up until the volume levels at which no reasonable person would listen. Sub isolation on a shoestring budget. It's also pleasing to the eye. br>br>If you must use adhesive, keep in mind that these guys are silicone and will shrug off things like Blu-Tack. tack.

Vibrations from 3D printers are dampened by using this product
5/5

My Prusa 3D printer, which used to be on a granite countertop in the kitchen, now sits on a desk in my office. The printer wasn't particularly loud in the kitchen, but moving it to the office increased the noise significantly. According to my research into sound dampening for 3D printers, the best solution is to mount the printer on a large mass and use vibration dampers to isolate the mass from the support surface. After researching various vibration dampers, I decided that this product would be able to handle the combined weight of the granite and printer, so I ordered a pair. Because the granite surface plate I ordered for under the printer was taking so long to arrive, I decided to experiment with the vibration dampers under the printer's feet. The amount of sound dampening this setup provided pleasantly surprised me. This arrangement effectively dampens mid to high frequencies, making printer noise less obtrusive. I could live with the current setup, but when the granite plate arrives, I'll install it to better match the weight rating of the dampers. I'm thinking about ordering a second set of lighter dampers to put between the granite plate and the printer feet to see if that helps. Overall, this is a fantastic product that is well-made and effective at damping vibrations.

They make a noticeable distinction
5/5

I used four of these to support a 64-pound subwoofer. They have a far greater impact than I had anticipated. I can't feel the floor bouncing as much as I used to. The door and the walls are no longer rattling. On the other hand, in a movie, the "ground shaking" could be felt, but not now. They're fantastic at what they're supposed to be good at. I'm just not sure how I feel about the final product. They deserve five stars because they are effective.

Rock On- These are very effective
5/5

Although I am not sure about the sound quality, these feet did exactly what they said they would. When I placed my KEF150W subwoofer on the wood floor of my five-unit condo, they completely isolated it, and neither of my neighbors could hear a thing. Now that's what I'm talking about when it comes to advertising truth! These four bad boys will set you back less than half a buck each. of what fancier looking pieces that screw into the sub, but heh, the sub is heavy enough to keep these firmly attached, so "Rock On!" as they say.
