We've had an NVR (Network Video Recorder) for a while, and while it was relatively quiet on its own, it became noticeably louder when we added a reasonably fast 12TB hard drive. The vibration could be heard even in a shelved server room with a closed door, so I went looking for some soft, gel-type feet and came across this set, which had good reviews, so I decided to give it a shot. They're working great, and the vibrations aren't reaching the shelf (where they were amplified). They're simple to install; simply peel off the protective tape and place them on a flat surface (the bottom of the NVR is completely flat, so they'll stick well). If I need isolation and damping again, I'll try these feet again, and I'd recommend them to others.

I saw someone else using something similar, but in a different size, to isolate printer vibrations, which prompted me to look on Amazon. I discovered that this brand and size were the best fit for my needs, so I created two different bases to mount on the Prusa MK3S. The noise reduction is incredible even when only using the 4x flat mounts. In the future, I intend to use an offset front mount and 4x flat mounts. br>br>I am very pleased with the absorption properties of the 3M adhesive and the base material.

At the very least, everyone should have a few slabs of these things on hand. I'm completely cereal-obsessed, and I enjoy becoming OCD and sticking things all over the place. I even put two of them on a pencil, and then one on a quarter, before realizing I needed to balance things out. Actually, now that I think about it, it was three.

These are stiffer than real Sorbothane, but they don't dampen vibrations well enough to distinguish between the two. The Sorbothane pucks delivered a stunning performance. For my CD player, there is a significant difference in the 'black' background and detail retrieval. Keep it real. br>br>.

The bass is much tighter and the sound quality is much better. I'm guessing it has less reverberation due to the desk platform. does it force the sound into the room? Whatever it is, it appears to be effective. . . at least to my ears! 🤣.

This was well worth the money, according to all of the 5-star reviews! It does exactly what it says on the tin. It keeps all vibrations out of my studio speakers. It accomplishes the task at hand. There were no issues. It also eliminates the need for bulky foam pads or other solutions, making the speakers appear cleaner and less cluttered. These come highly recommended by me!.

I didn't have to stick the product to the cable boxes or the security firmware; instead, I simply placed them there. They were used to get rid of the sub-standard materials. I'm irritated by the high-frequency hum that comes with such devices. I'd tried and failed with a number of other isolating products. These were a cinch to put together. I strongly advise you to purchase them. They're in the middle of the pack. They are made of hard silicon and have no odor. Purchase the 8-pack to save money. Once you've used them and heard how well they work, you'll want to isolate more items.
