Questions & Answers

I'm sure I'm overlooking something, but what is the height of the 1. Bumpers that are 25 inches long?

The 1. Hemispheres measuring 25" in diameter are available. 625" in height

Is it possible to use them as a stand-alone speaker?

The number two was used. On a pair of floor standing speakers weighing 68 lbs each and measuring 41"H x 16"W x 13"D, 5" Platinum Silicone Hemisphere Bumpers made the speakers wobbly and springy. Because there was a risk of the speakers tipping over and falling, I decided not to use them under my speakers. I don't think it's a good idea.

Which size Kef R3 speakers should I buy?

You'll need to know the weight of your speakers and divide it by four to get the weight loading of the various sizes of Silicone Hemisheres available. Kind regards, br>

Have any of you used these to tent a split keyboard?

This, in my opinion, is a good application.

Before placing an order, make sure you understand the Durometer Shore Hardness Scale
5/5

For years, I've used silicone footers to isolate electronics or speakers from their stands for vibration absorption, and these appeared to be a more cost-effective alternative. Isolate It! is available in a lower-cost version. I usually use a specific brand of bumper. The hardness of these caught me off guard when they arrived. These are much more durable than the other brand I'm currently using. Then I came across the "Durometer Shore Hardness Scale," which I learned about. "Whoever thought of this brilliant idea decided to use different scales with the same durometer ratings. As a result, a product with a 20 durometer on the "Shore A" scale is harder than one with a 60 durometer on the "Shore 00" scale. I'm not holding my disappointment against the product because the description clearly states "Shore A. " br>br>Although these aren't as soft as the ones I'm used to, I'm confident that they'll do the job. I also expect these to be free of the stickiness that the softer bumpers have between the domed surface of the bumper and the contact surface. I haven't yet installed these, but I plan to do so tomorrow and will update this review if I notice any differences in performance over the next few weeks. If it's been 15 days since I wrote this review and I haven't updated it to say whether these are better or worse than the softer bumpers, it's because I couldn't tell the difference in their performance as audio component and speaker footers.

It's a great product. I have two Definitive Technology Super Towers (BP9000 Series) in my collection. br>When the bass dropped, my floors and furniture would literally shake and rumble. I tried everything from felt pads to various "feet" and everything in between. between. br>I was hesitant to purchase subwoofer pads because they are unsightly. I also didn't want the sorbothene alternatives because they stain hardwood. br>Here's what I'm going to say: br>THESE WORK LIKE CRAZY! br>Are they able to completely eliminate all vibrations? Because soundwaves are sent through the air by a subwoofer, this is impossible.
- It was clear that the floors and furniture had stopped swaying. -br>-br>-br>-br>-b Neighbors ceased to be irritated. -br>-br>-br>-br>-b My fiancée, who is sensitive to bass, no longer tells me to turn it down. -br>-br>-br>-br>-b bass is more precise Check. br>br>The ONLY "disadvantage" is that these grip the floor. I can't move my towers around any longer, but that's fine with me. br>As for the adhesive complaints, they only stick for a short period of time. There will only be one time. They will not stick again if you remove them. You're being ridiculous if you complain about this. Come on.

What I was looking for
5/5

I was in desperate need of some silicone feet, and these were exactly what I was looking for. I recently bought a new Sony S6700 Blu-ray Player. I'm in desperate need of a boost. On my television, to be precise. To get a good flow of air. As a result, it maintains a pleasant temperature. "I thought about it. " However, these were chosen. Between the cable box and the Sony, they created the ideal space. The installation went without a hitch. Remove the cover by simply peeling it away. After that, put them in. The adhesive will hold them in place wherever you want them. If you make a mistake, however, you will be penalized. They are simple to transport. As soon as everything is in place, Placed the player on a flat surface and pressed him down. To ensure that the adhesive was firmly attached to the player. It will be placed on top of the cable box. Between them, there was a lot of space. They appear to have come straight from the factory. I'm completely at ease. With the color black. The feet are an example. They're fantastic, and I'm very happy with them. These are something I would strongly suggest. If anyone requires them to create an airspace, they can do so. They'd probably work well as speaker feet as well. Take a look at these.

Isolation of skids! Underneath my bed are two Polk PSW505 12" subs. Only four hard plastic feet were originally nailed into the enclosure's bottom. They started cracking and vibrating after a few months, which was completely unacceptable. br>br>So I went to Amazon and found these lovely things. They're fantastic! I used one pack of these isolation feet on each sub (they weigh about 60 pounds, so that's about 4 pounds distributed weight per foot). My room's concrete floor isn't perfectly level, so these feet took care of leveling the subs by conforming to the floor perfectly. Since installing them, all subwoofer vibration noise has vanished, and the quality of the subwoofer's output has improved beyond its already bassaliciousness. br>br>I STRONGLY advise you to purchase these!.

The most cost-effective significant audio enhancement I've ever encountered
5/5

I'm blown away by how well these tiny silicone chunks function. These were purchased to go with my Onkyo C-1000 receiver. When people with heavy feet walked anywhere near a 7070 CD player, the music would skip. I reasoned that if the bumpers didn't work out, it wouldn't be such a big deal to toss them out at their current price. br>br>As mentioned by a previous reviewer, the player wobbles a little bit when loading/removing discs, which is odd at first but quickly forgotten when playing discs. I literally shook and hit my audio rack while playing a CD to test the bumpers, but I was unable to cause the player to skip.

the sound quality is 100% noticeably clearer in all aspects which is almost beyond rational belief that these small pieces of silicone could% br>br>My CD player has never sounded better, thanks to the fact that the vibrations from my floorstanders are no longer affecting its performance. If your player is sitting still on its stock feet in your setup, this is a must-have. br>br>My friends, have a good time listening.
