The only difference, in my opinion, is in the length. Regardless of how you refer to it, I believe the connectors on the ends are the same. I ordered a 25-foot one to run an NMEA connection between my NMEA 2K chart plotter at the helm and my NMEA 2K VHF radio at the Nav station, so they could share GPS coordinates, AIS targets, and so on.

It does exactly what it says.
The Garmin cables are well-made and simple to set up. I had to cut the cable to fit it through a small hole and replace the fitting at the other end. The wires were of a thick gauge and were simple to work with. I had no problems running my NMEA 2000 system with these cables throughout the season.
It worked flawlessly.
Excellent product!.
I would buy this product again if I had the opportunity.
