I've been using mine for a while now. It doesn't "snap in," as far as I can tell. " Every now and then, I have to remove the watch and reset it so that it can be properly inserted into the charging device.
Original. It's a Garmin product; China-made chargers are hit-or-miss in terms of performance. They should be avoided at all costs.

I misplaced my watch's original charger and needed a replacement as soon as possible. Because of all the negative reviews, I was hesitant to buy it, but I decided to give it a try anyway, and I'm glad I did. It quickly recharges my watch. It's a little tricky to get it in the right spot, but once I've figured it out, it's a breeze. The most important thing is to ensure that the watch is correctly aligned with the connector. I make sure the RUN button is on the same side as the lever at all times. It's a lot easier if you just slide the watch in and bend the charger's lever to the proper position. It should work once everything is properly aligned.
So far, everything has gone well! It doesn't look or feel like an aftermarket product, and it performs better than the one I thought I had misplaced, which I discovered the same day this one arrived! After all, I suppose I did require a replacement!.
As a replacement for the original, this item was purchased. These chargers must be *exactly* right, or your watch will not charge and you will be unable to run. After you've inserted the watch into the charger, double-check that the charging symbol is visible.
My battery didn't even need to be charged when it arrived! It establishes a strong connection with the Forerunner and charges quickly.
During a trip, I misplaced my original Garmin charger. This one was ordered, received in two days, and works perfectly! It was exactly what I was looking for.
Ordered to replace one that wasn't working properly, and it does exactly what it says it will.
It's effective as hell.
The charger is of excellent quality and well-made. It does a fantastic job!.
