Questions & Answers

Is this something that can be done with a professional athlete?

It's on my Garmin Sport Pro, and I'm using it. It was necessary to modify the end of the plastic clip so that it could be recharged without having to remove it; the material that was removed has no effect on the operation. Although it may make removing the clip more difficult, I never do so.

Is the gpsmap 66i compatible with this?

It will, in fact.

Is gpsmap 60csx compatible with this?

Garmin does not list it as an accessory for the inGPSMap 60csx on their website, and the 60csx does not have the spine on the back to clip it on to.

It is overpriced
3/5

This, like most Garmin products, is way too expensive. You'd think that with a $300 GPS, something so basic would come standard. br>br>Not-for-profit organizations br>br>Not-for-profit organizations br Garmin has found a new way to make a $15 profit.

It is simple to use a carabiner
5/5

I didn't think I'd enjoy having my Garmin dangling from a strap, but it hangs unobtrusively from a belt or pack without being bothersome. If I had my druthers, I'd prefer it to be attached inverted so that I could simply lift the unit up to inspect it. Unfortunately, when the unit is turned upside down, it hangs. Basically, if I attached it to a friend's backpack in front of me, I'd be able to see where I am in relation to my track or landmarks with a quick glance. However, hanging on my belt, I either have to lift and twist it to see it right side up, or I just un-tangle it. Completely snip it. It's not the end of the world, and I'm still pleased with my purchase. For an 8-mile run through some fairly difficult terrain, it worked out perfectly.

On the Garmin 64sx, it works perfectly
5/5

On my Garmin 64sx, the clip is perfect. It snaps into place and slides easily on the back of the unit. Some people complained that it was difficult to get rid of. That is not the case in my opinion. Simply lift up and pull down on the clip's bottom. I use the carabiner clip to clip to my belt loop while walking because it appears to be quite sturdy. I haven't tried it on my backpack yet, but I don't think it will cause any issues. While it comes with a plastic clip, I've found that these are prone to breaking. br>br>My only gripe is the price, which should be about half of what you get for the money. It would be even better if it included GPS. Garmin isn't known for being customer-friendly, charging extra for a map that can be used with your GPS, so it's no surprise that the clip is overpriced.

Fits perfectly on the eTrex 30x! It's the perfect size for the Garmin eTrex 30x
5/5

I received an OEM product, which I opened, romoved, and tested. I had no problems clipping it to the eTrex 30x. The carabiner is a device that allows you to attach items to each The straps are extremely durable. This purchase has exceeded my expectations.

Not at all what I had anticipated
4/5

It appeared to be a small carabiner that would fit into the lanyard holes on the bottom of my eTrex30 from the photo. It's not. It's a big carabiner with a big belt mount that slides onto the case. My eTrex is usually tucked into a front pocket and worn on a lanyard around my neck. I'll have to change the way I use the eTrex to make this work, but I'll give it a shot.

So far, this is the best I've found
4/5

For my e-collar remote, I've tried a few different holsters. This one is my favorite, but the remote is upside down when attached to your belt. That took some time for both me and the dogs to adjust to. Because the remote was turned upside down, I kept zapping the wrong one! (That was a joke, by the way!) I only have to discipline my dogs on a very rare occasion.

It's time to get the remote! It's a game changer to have my remote clipped to my jacket or vest
4/5

My only gripe is that in order to charge the remote, you must remove it. It's a real annoyance. I came across similar complaints and, like them, I used a dremel to drill out the part that was obstructing the port.

5/5

I've been missing having a clip for my more recent GPSr. This is compatible with my Garmin gpsmap64st, so I won't have to worry about leaving my device at Geocaches anymore.
