Hello, GPS data is sent over the serial port, while the compass is sent over I2C. I hope this information is useful.
It's not a radio antenna; instead, it's a GPS module that can be used anywhere.
You can find some tutorials on how to connect the device to your PC using u-connect on YouTube. the u-turn in the middle Blox software allows you to read and write messages to the receiver, as well as configure it. I was able to set mine to 10 Hz, but I also increased the baud rate in case anything went wrong.

"Is there a command to change the update rate from 1hz to 10hz?" I asked. There is no commentary on the datasheet. " Despite the fact that English is not my first language, the seller's response "Hello, you need to set 10hz does not support all statements" is extremely difficult to comprehend. Submitted by Deegoo FPV SELLER on December 1, 2020"br>So, I wrote an email to Beitian, the module's manufacturer. It's a Shenzhen-based Chinese company with fantastic customer service! One of their engineers showed me how to change the setting from u- to u-plus. The update rate and baud rate can be changed by sending a HEX array to the module. I've included a picture of the HEX array that works for me. You'll need a serial number, of course. If you don't want to use an Arduino or a Raspberry Pi to work on the GPS module, you can use a USB tool to connect it to your computer. br>At the moment, I'm getting this module to work with a 115200 baud rate and a 10hz update rate. I hope it is also successful for you. If you're still having trouble changing it, leave a comment.
This version takes the place of a BN 220. It turns on, but Betaflight isn't sure what it's for. I've wired up the other version (GPS Module Receiver,Navigation Satellite Positioning NEO- GPS Module Receiver, GPS Module Receiver, GPS Module Receiver, GPS Module Receiver, GPS Module Receiver, GPS Module Receiver, GPS Module Receive I used it for 6M and had no problems with it. That one went on a Matek Wing board because it had wire running from the GPS module to the antenna, making it unsuitable for a drone. I double-checked the instructions, de-soldered everything, and tried again, but it didn't work. It turns on and receives power, but the FC does not recognize it. Removed the solder joints on this GPS and soldered another BN 220T to it, and it worked perfectly. I had higher expectations for his, especially given the antenna's size. By the way, this is the second one I've purchased. I immediately returned the first one I purchased because it arrived without cables and the antenna appeared to be scratched. If you have enough space, the GPS Module Receiver,Navigation Satellite Positioning NEO-Navigation Satellite Positioning NEO-Navigation Satellite Positioning NEO-Navigation Satellite Positioning NEO-Navigation Satellite Positioning NEO Because it has solder pads and works, the 6M version is the best option.
To connect to Windows 10 and the Raspberri Pi 3B, I used an FTDI TTL USB converter. It just works now that I've wired it up. Utilized the U- Blox U- On Windows, use the Center program. Surprisingly, I was catching 10 satellites on my desk while using 3D lock! Using U- I was able to make the necessary adjustments at the center. This is what I'm using for an APRS radio project, and it works great on Linux with gpsd.
At 1, it's a tad too big. 820" Dia. and 0. For smaller aircraft, 500" thick is recommended, but it worked well on my 1400mm fixed wing. I used the two-sided tape that came with it to adhere it to the wall. To get the best compass accuracy, I leveled it and the flight controller as much as I could. At half the cost of the Matek gps/compass unit, this is an excellent deal.
A fantastic item.
For our RC truck, this is a nice small GPS unit. We're going to use it as a speedometer.
It was simple to connect to my MFD antenna tracker, and it was dependable and quick to lock on to satellites.
It fulfills my requirements perfectly. Even if I don't have the best view of the sky, running at 5hz output gives me the accurate speed output I'm looking for.
