Yes, the three-meter tape was included with mine.
You'll need to check the back of your unit to see if the plug is the same.
Because gps antennas lock on to multiple satellites, they can be used under a dash as long as there is no metal interference above them.

After the negative feedback, I was a little wary. On my 2017 Mkz, which has a combined gps and xm antenna on the trunk lid, I was having trouble receiving satellite radio. I bought a new xm antenna and installed it in the rear passenger quarter panel's audio box. The xm was now receiving excellent reception, but there was no signal from the GPS. There appears to be a splitter that splits the signal from the combined antenna, and it is powered either by the xm audio side or by the antenna. So I bought this GPS antenna and tried to connect it to the splitter in the trunk, but the connection was female as well. I unplugged the factory lead and plugged in this antenna and placed it near the center front winshield after removing the 8-inch screen up front revealed the male input connection to the NAV unit. It really works. So now I have gps and xm with a clear view of the sky and no constant acquiring signal.
I replaced my non-working factory radio with a "new to me" factory radio that has navigation, but the car wasn't wired for navigation, so the navigation didn't work because the car didn't know where it was. I bought a Bingfu Vehicle Waterproof Active GPS Navigation Antenna Fakra C Blue GPS Antenna and mounted it in the center of the dash near the window, hiding the wires behind the dash. My car's navigation system is now operational. Is it likely that I'll make use of the navigation system? Most likely not, given how well Google Maps works on my phone. This antenna, however, is a fantastic bargain at $10. Installed in a 2010 Volkswagen Passat wagon (fun to drive).
For my SYNC2 to SYNC3 conversion, this unit was ideal. Please keep in mind that the system required several starts and drives to fully sync up. I didn't have to think about it again after that.
So far, it hasn't worked! I've tried everything from driving in loops for an hour to resetting the radio's programming. The next step is to contact the dealer to ensure that the problem is not caused by the module. When the time is right, I'll post an update.
Outstanding craftsmanship!.
The antenna works well most of the time, but it can occasionally cause the compass to malfunction. If you don't mind it not working every now and then, it's worth the money. br>If you don't, get a better one.
For the Sync 2 - I used this antenna. > In my Fiesta ST, I converted to Sync 3 mode. Despite showing me correctly on the map, it immediately displayed a Navigation Fault. Every time I restarted the car, I'd get this error. There were no issues or errors after replacing it with an Eightwood brand one.
This is a far superior antenna to the one that came with my radio. It's on top of my van's roof, which I installed.
