Yes. I used double stick tape to secure mine in the passenger side dash, close to the glass, and tucked the wire away; it works perfectly!
The antenna has a voltage range of 3 to 5 volts DC and a current range of 7 to 10 milliamps. It ought to function on 3. If your power supply is rated for at least 10 milliamps, you can use 3 volts.
The antenna will not work with this receiver because it doesn't have a built-in GPS receiver.
Are you referring to the GX1400g? The GX1400 series radios with the GPS suffix (GX1400GPS) appear to be the only ones with built-in GPS receivers. Part 8 of your owner's manual is where you'll find this information. 4 inputs for GPS. You'll need a separate GPS receiver if your radio doesn't have the GPS suffix. If it has the GPS suffix, it appears to have a built-in GPS antenna. The Bingfu antenna, as it stands, will not work with your radio. The antenna coax cable provides power to the Bingfu antenna, which requires 5 volts. The proper connector for the connection is missing from your radio. Best of luck on your journey.

99 + $18. 00 shipping, and the earliest it could be delivered to me is in mid-late September (2 months from now). Why not, I reasoned, when I saw BingFu's product for $9 and free next-day shipping? Not only did the product work, but it was also half the size, twice as easy to install (due to its magnetic backside, which is incredibly strong by the way), and received a GPS signal within seconds of turning it on. Look no further if you're looking for a GPS antenna that works with your device. This is the one you should buy.
This is what I attached to a NEO-based project. 6M clone (GT-XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX U7) by utilizing the U. Adaptor for FL IPX IPEX to SMA Female. I had been using the cheap ceramic antenna that came with the GPS board, which received more signal DB and allowed me to pick up SBAS sources as well as GPS satellites from my basement office. The "adhesive" is provided, but the antenna is also a magnetic mount, so it will easily mount to the outside of your car. I have not yet conducted a field test, but it is already superior to any other antenna I have tried from my office.
It comes in handy when I'm working on my NEO. Module with a capacity of 6M The NEO- The antenna that comes with 6M is a cheap one that performs so poorly that it's embarrassing. Even outside, it took days to find a lock. This antenna can be used inside the house, it quickly acquires a lock, and it comes with a long cord that can be used to mount it away from other noisy electronics. This book comes highly recommended.
My $88 double din unit came with a broken GPS antenna. I ordered this and went from zero to ten satellites in seconds, and they all locked on! The long cable allowed me to conceal it while still being able to mount it in the middle of my Expedition's dashboard. This GPS antenna is absolutely incredible. It's quite effective. Excellent value for money.
My head unit came with a GPS antenna that worked intermittently at best, but this Bingfu antenna worked flawlessly - Even in my closed garage, I got satellite reception.
Our Verizon Network Extender's original antenna was damaged, but this one works just as well.
Excellent craftsmanship. Sensitive. Within minutes, it had locked on to the satellites.
