In that case, I see no reason not to connect an Ethernet to your cable box. These are very long in length, so we bought two of them. The shorter one was used by my daughter between her work laptop and our router because she had a hard time holding WiFi through the longer one. Her motivation to do so was that she used to work from home once or twice a week. Covid gave her the option of working at home full-time. It was helpful for her to buy a second (long) cable (so she could work anywhere in the house with her work laptop, including downstairs). It proved useful when trying to get a Wi-Fi connection for a computer and laptop.
Directly to the point.
This cable is the only one
There is an option of purchasing 1 or 2 cables (current prices are $4). A 01 and a 4. In each case, 95)

To disconnect the cable, I had to insert a flat tool such as a feeler gauge, small screwdriver or butter knife to push a In this case, the design and stiffness of the boot make it nearly impossible to disengage the tab by pinching between thumb and forefinger as normal (or perhaps even excessively). By trying both ends of both cables in three or four different devices, including a cable tester, I made sure the problem was not with the female socket. The locking tab had to be disengaged with a tool in every case. My hand strength and dexterity are fine, but this is just an unimaginative design for what should be like a very simple device. Useful only if you don't want your kid to disconnect your internet during play. I was not aware of any problems with either cable during my testing, as it seems typical for the price point. In addition to this product, I own some others from Monoprice, and I am always satisfied with them. I fail on this one.
My home automation is great and you do a great job. There is an area that is built into my home where I can plug in my router and cat-5 cable to network my entire house to the internet Each room has 5 cables running to it. To connect my bridges to the router, I needed a couple of short cat 5 cables. These work great! I have also used them as an extension to another cat 5 cable. It comes from the wall through cable 5 and connects to the tv.
A cable and a USB cable were purchased. There was one that did not work and there was one that The wireless cable was stuck in the Ethernet port after the snagless boot prevented me from removing it. It was a very bad start!
Moreover, I was unable to remove the malfunctioning cable since it was stuck in the Ethernet port after the hard plastic boot. Due to the nature of the cable, the plastic did not harden over time.
I had to use pincers to remove and unlock the cable. The cables I am recommending are not recommended.
The Ethernet cable is a pretty flexible one with sturdy clips on the end, but there isn't much else to say about it other than that. Cable of good quality.
A laptop is one of the best devices to use this item with. For the majority of connections, I prefer short cords. I also prefer that the cord is not tangled up. When you use this type of connection, your devices look neater, there is less cord tangling, and there is less interference.
These cables are perfect for connecting a patch panel directly to a switch on a network rack, and I bought five of them. One of the cables I ordered was causing intermittent connection problems, and once I replaced it with another one, the problem was fixed. I eliminated every other possibility except the cable, and, as a result, the issue no longer exists. When you buy in bulk, it's not a good sign if you then experience failure within a few weeks. I am not sure if it came out of the factory with a defect, or if it was strained somehow.
an Ethernet cable of basic design, it serves the purpose. The speed testing shows that it is getting the speeds I am supposed to get. It is not the best (durability is just OK), but, in my opinion, it is a very good value for money. I buy a lot of cables from Monoprice because everything else is so dear.
The cable length is perfect to connect my Raspberry Pi to my router without a tangle of long, coiled up cables. Maybe I'm crazy, but an even shorter cable would have had the same effect. It would be so much better if they were like 2" long.
