I figured I'd be able to put up a 2. A 5 HDD or a 3 HDD is the better option. I'm going to put 5 HDDs in these and mount them to my PC case. The screws are in the right place, but three of them are out of alignment. 5 HDDs will not fit, but they might if they were 1/16th of an inch wider.

The provided screws could have a larger head size, but this isn't a big deal. I made my own out of scraps from various kits. But, on the whole, I'm happy. Two WD 2's were installed using these two brackets. I had 5 IDE hard disk drives in a USB 2. Because of the USB 2, I took 5 cases and converted them to SATA. When plugging in to the USB ports on a desktop PC, there are 5 cases of USB interface issues. br>I'll buy it again if the need arises in the future.

Whoever the new tray manufacturer is, they're a scumbag. br>br>The external holes are not three, as others have stated. 5" drive bay compatible, so if you have a pre-installed drive bay like I do, you're in luck. Now that the screws (which are built into the case) are in place, it's time to get a drill. Furthermore, the RAZOR sharp edges are REAL; I cut myself on one. br>br>The screw driver had a broken tip when he arrived. There's a lot of hilarity going on over there!.

Stamped metal that has been painted or has been lightly powder coated. My threads aren't coated or painted, and there are no visible burs or other flaws. The components are all the same size and fit together perfectly. If I need more, I won't hesitate to purchase again.

5" drives are available. I liked how the holes were large enough to fit in a Dell carrier without having to bore them out. All of the other brands I've tried required reaming to fit into the holders. These are extremely sturdy and perform admirably.

The bracket cannot be mounted to the frame because the screw heads are too small. The old screws that held the old drive in place will still work, but you'll have to flip the frame to make room for the cables due to the shallow cutout. Again, nothing to be concerned about. Because some of the edges aren't as rounded as they should be, some caution is advised. A screwdriver was included as an added bonus.
