That's correct.
It does, in fact, measure heart rate, though it has been known to be a few points off. It is capable of providing you with a reasonably accurate reading.
I looked all over for a YouTube app that would work, but I couldn't find one. There is an app that claims to allow you to watch YouTube videos, but it only has a small selection. Except for the Ring security system app, which allows you to view your cameras, there are no Netflix or other video apps.
It's the first galaxy watch, so I'm guessing it's the first, but they just call it a galaxy watch. It comes in two sizes: 42mm and 46mm. Good luck!

When I first considered this watch, the refurbished price in comparison to the new price made me very skeptical. I mean, how good could this possibly be? When I'm thinking about buying something, I always start with the negative reviews because I want to know exactly what's wrong with it. What am I getting myself into? The negative reviews sounded more like stupid user complaints combined with what I expected to read (physical flaws such as scratches) at the time of my purchase. As a clumsy user (at times), I find that these types of complaints are interesting to read in case I run into similar issues.
Moving on. I received this watch and I am 100% 100% pleased with my purchase. Everything I had seen in the video reviews was exactly what I had expected from Samsung. It had a couple of scratches on the dial, which I was disappointed about, but I'll take it for the price I paid compared to what I could have paid. This was a fantastic deal, and I would advise anyone reading this review and thinking about purchasing this watch to do so right now.
I was hesitant to buy a refurbished watch, but it looks great so far. It came in a generic box with all original Samsung parts, including the guides, and very minor wear on the chrome part, which I noticed because I examined it with a flashlight. The other small detail is that it only came with half of the extra original band, which I don't mind because I don't like the original ones, but I'm very happy with it so far.
I have a number of grievances. When I first got this product, I got everything I was supposed to get (this was a common complaint). The watch I received was of poor quality, which is my complaint. Although I was aware that this product had been renewed, it did not appear to be. The watch was severely scratched when I received it, and the bezel was scratched as well. It was filthy and had gunk all over it. I did not return it because I resolved to repair it myself. I ended up purchasing metal polishing supplies as well as a new bezel, among other things. I would not recommend purchasing from this seller. Instead, go out and purchase a new one.
Quite a bit, to be precise. I almost never buy new products because I always opt for refurbished. I had never used a smart watch before and was pleasantly surprised at how simple it was to operate. It also has a brand-new appearance and feel to it. There were no issues at all. It came with everything it said it would, and it's both comfortable and fashionable. I can't think of anything better to say about it.

The battery life is insanely good, which is the most important feature. I tested it for 2 1/2 days without charging and had 46% battery life left on the last day, so I believe it can easily last three days. br>br>Also, as a refurbished item, I didn't expect it to be perfect; it had its flaws, including the fact that it didn't come with the original charger (as the seller stated), which causes it to overheat when charging; the trick is to simply stop charging for a few minutes to allow it to cool before continuing.
HR and Step Sensors are now 2X as dead! Well, I figured I'd give the "renewed" program a shot, and the product arrived on time, out of the box and paired, with the watch displaying "use original charger" when placed on the charger. I bought this to replace my Fitbit and it came with the wrong charger. Next, I noticed the device would not record my heart rate or step count at all. I tried hard and soft resets with no luck. I chose a replacement; hopefully, this is an isolated incident with this supplier, but we'll see. I'll update when I get the replacementbr>*** REPLACEMENT WATCH RECEIVED*********
This time I got the LTE version when I ordered the Bluetooth only, and the HR sensor and barometer sensor are both dead. If you go into the phone app on the watch and input *0*, it will take you into TEST MODE for the galaxy watch, where you can actually run diagnosis on all hardware. I will never buy anything from Amazon again, or from this supplier; in theory, this program could be fantastic, but the quality assurance standards are non-existent. What a waste of energy and time, I'll be returning both watches I received and receiving a refund.
(additional information) Update. The watch was delivered on Thursday morning, and it is still charged today (Monday). I'm amazed that there is still 18% battery charge left after almost 4 full days. This isn't a dumbed-down watch with all features turned off to save battery life (i. e. I've got the pedometer, heart rate monitor, alarm, and sleep tracking turned on, but I've disabled the "always on display" because I don't mind flicking my wrist to turn it on). When I sleep, I also use the "goodnight" mode to ensure that it does not turn on by accident (saving battery life). If the battery life remains this good, I'll have to raise the rating to five stars. When I used similar settings on my 42mm Series 3 Apple watch, it could never last longer than two days. The Galaxy Watch's long battery life compensates for its larger size and weight. After a few more full battery cycles, I'll make another update. Original. br>br> So far, the watch has lived up to my expectations. Because I'm switching from a series 3 (42mm) Apple watch, this watch is noticeably larger and heavier. The AMOLED screen is incredible, and it works perfectly with my Samsung phone. I'm currently tinkering with the watch's settings to find a good balance of battery life and features. br>It would be pointless to use this watch with all of the "smart" features turned off to save battery life; the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because the vendor included a 3rd party (no name) charging adapter and charging stand.
