When I opened the box, I was pleased to see that an extra battery had been included. I bought it with the intention of using it on my upcoming trip, but after charging it, I went to practice using the selfie stick and set it up on my phone so it wouldn't be last minute. It's a good thing I did because the instructions say to hold for two seconds and watch for the blue light to turn on. Okay, I tried that, but it didn't work. Then I just kept pressing the button, but there was still no blue light. I took out the remote and went to change the battery, putting it in both ways and thinking I'd done something wrong when it didn't work the second time. I was expecting a new Bluetooth device to appear on my phone as I pressed the button, but all that appeared was my laptop. I left a message with customer service, but by the time they get back to me, I'll be on my trip, where I was supposed to use this selfie stick. I'll return it when I get back, but I need to find one in the next two days.

I tried both batteries and neither of them would light up the remote's "blue light" - I even double-checked the remote's batteries to make sure they were in the right place. Because I assumed the batteries were dead, I returned it and placed an order for a new one. I replaced the first battery, which was dead (as determined by a multimeter), with the second battery. I was able to pair it with an iPhone after the blue light turned on! I even managed to snap a few shots. After that, I charged the fill light and put it to the test. It was never going to be turned on. I returned the second one and replaced it with one from a different manufacturer.

Everything about this selfie stick is great, except the tripod mode, which is a little shaky when fully extended.

a complete waste of money I had a hard time getting it to pair or work and only got a few photos with it after spending a lot of time on it, and it was spotty at best to use, so I upgraded to an Iphone 13 and it won't pair again. I bought this 11 months ago, and it says 18 months of manufacturer support, but after the month Amazon gives you to return it, the ask for help button vanishes, and there's no way to contact them to ask if it will work on an iPhone 13.

I suppose we'll design this with that in mind. It's a flimsy piece of garbage that nearly broke my phone. If you value your phone, simply do not buy this. I started using the tripod, sat it on the floor, and then let it go, and my phone was gone. I had no idea I had such quick reflexes.

I bought this selfie stick because it has a light feature that most others don't have, and the light on the first order worked perfectly for two days. I took it with me on vacation because I didn't have time to replace it. It works well as a selfie stick, and the remote is a nice addition. I returned home and requested a replacement, which arrived quickly. Light didn't work out of the box the second time around. It has been returned.

It has a little trouble spreading its legs. Also, the photo clicker does not stay put. I keep nudging it into place, but it always ends up lost in my bag.
