2, one for the LCD and the other for the touch screen LCD
I'm not sure how simple it is, but all you have to do is follow the installation instructions. I believe you will be able to find a large number of video clips on YouTube.
It doesn't work that way. A gasket was missing from the one I got.
huh?

The display and touchscreen worked fine after I replaced the screen, but I received an alert saying "Could not activate Touch ID on this device. " After the new screen was installed, the home button stopped working completely. When I tapped it, it didn't "click" or vibrate, and the only way to wake the phone was to press the side button. I made sure to carefully remove the old screen's working home button assembly and double-check that the connections were secure. I decided to plug the home button into the old display just to make sure I didn't mess it up. On the cracked screen, it performed admirably. After doing some research, I discovered that some replacement screens come with faulty "home button extension cables. " Unfortunately, a faulty extension cable plagued my otherwise perfectly functional replacement screen. If I get a new non-profit organization, I'll be sure to let you know. I'll change the rating to four stars because of a defective screen. EDIT: br>br> I tried contacting the seller to request a defect-free screen but was unable to do so after the seller provided unhelpful advice and ignored the content of my messages. After sending an email describing my problem with the home button extension cable in detail, I was told to "use the original home button. " "Well, the only home button assembly I had was the one I took out of the Apple screen. The seller advised me to clean the contacts on the cables after I explained my situation. That didn't help matters. Finally, I returned the defective screen and purchased a replacement from a different seller.
It will light up black and not display the information that it should. 3 WEEKS AGO: UPDATE: I felt compelled to update the review after discovering an issue after writing the previous one. When I press the home button or use "raise-to-standby," my new screen does not always display. wake". It will occasionally turn black, indicating that it is receiving power but that there is either a connection issue (I double-checked everything before reassembling) or a fault with the screen itself (which is highly unlikely). It doesn't go black while you're using it; it only happens when you wake up. It happens a lot more when you're charging your phone. I gave it two stars because it does work occasionally. ORIGINAL REVIEW: BR>BR>ORIGINAL REVIEW: BR>BR>ORIGINAL REVIEW: BR>ORIGINAL REVIEW (5/5) Excellent value for money, with a high-quality display. The sensitivity to touch is excellent. The colors on the display are far superior to those on the previous screen (which was also a replacement). The tools they provide are useful.
I had to pay an extra $50 to get the cable replaced and the screen installed. The touchscreen is now less sensitive than the original, and it has a slight greenish cast that I can't adjust; all in all, I should have just paid for someone to install a proper screen from the start.
In about 30 minutes, I was able to remove the broken screen and replace it with a new one. I consider myself to be fairly handy, but this is only the third screen I've replaced in the last few years. This is a screen I would buy again in a heartbeat. Keep in mind that you'll get not only a fantastic screen, but also tools and a screen protector! Thank you for providing a high-quality product at a reasonable price.
Some pieces around the earpiece and camera on the replacement screen are missing. There is a rectangular plastic bracket where the screws go in, as well as a housing for the sensors and camera that keeps everything together, but they are both missing. Because this is missing, reassembling the earpiece ribbon assembly, which is complicated and delicate, becomes 10 times more difficult, increasing the risk of making a mistake. Bad form.
Take a look at this! This is precisely how it ought to be. Good tools, a nice tray to keep your parts and screws organized while you're repairing, and a good screen protector. The screen is fantastic in and of itself! My phone is back to normal now that it has connected and synced with all of the components. br>I had repaired another phone with a different screen from another vendor and it wouldn't sync with the home button, so I had to return and get another, wasting even more time. br>Repairing the screen requires organization, cleanliness, patience, and time; if you don't have a good work space, vision, or the ability to focus and be detail oriented, don't repair your own phone. I say this because your lack of responsibility and ability will only result in you writing a negative review on an otherwise excellent product and vendor, making it difficult for others to find what they require. SO BE CAREFUL AND PAY ATTENTION!.
This was the second time I needed to replace the screen on my iPhone 7plus. I was on the verge of ditching my phone in favor of a newer, less expensive model. However, I purchased this as a last resort because my phone was stuck on the Apple logo loop after I installed the first old screen replacement and it received its first update. As soon as I turned on this new screen, it began to function normally. There are a few buttons on my keyboard, such as R and 4, as well as a few emojis on that side, that don't respond, but I usually get the text replacement and select what I need. Overall, I was able to avoid buying a new phone because of this, and I'm pleased with how everything works.
Installed two of these in the same phone and they both had the same problems: the colors are muted and off (especially green and blue), the ear speaker will not work with this screen, so expect to only be able to make calls on speaker phone, and the hard press (to move your cursor) will not work. In the end, I decided to replace the screen with an E-Vision high-definition screen. SUNG, and everything worked flawlessly (it was a genuine OEM replacement).
