QTlier iPhone 6s Screen Replacement 4.7" Black,LCD Display & Touch Screen Digitizer with 3D Touch Full Assembly Set for iPhone 6s 4.7 inch with Repair Tool kit

I bought it with no experience replacing any part of a phone and no idea what I was getting myself into. I bought this particular screen because it was the cheapest, and I expected it to fail miserably. After about an hour and a half of watching a YouTube video and following along (the item comes with ZERO instructions), the new screen was installed, and I pressed the power button, and it worked like new. When I say I was on the verge of crying, I mean it. It was by far the most difficult thing I've ever done; removing the old home button, camera, mic, and speaker from the old screen and transferring them to the new one was extremely stressful, but I managed to fix a screen that was smashed and dropping pieces of glass the entire time, and wasn't even a solid piece to remove due to its cracked state. Also, after reading other reviews, I purchased a separate tool kit, which I used, but I ended up using the screwdriver that came with the screen to remove one stripped and stuck screw, and after further inspection, I would say that the tools included with this screen are actually quite good. Although there is no packaging or labeling, the screen DOES WORK. I'll buy it again if one of us loses a phone.

I'm going to assume you're all aware that you'll need to transfer a lot of parts from the old screen to the new one, so be prepared, and I'm not taking away any stars for it. br>br>A couple of observations on the actual product: br>br>1) Unlike the old screen, the new one does not sit flush against the phone. It feels good, but not as good as the old phonebr>2) the digitizer (the part that detects your finger movements) does not appear to detect touch movement as well as the original phone. As a result, if you're a fast typer like me, you'll notice that it skips letters while typing. br>3) The screen surface's glass/plastic appears to be of inferior quality to the original. br>br>If you're on a tight budget and don't mind the drawbacks I mentioned, this item is ideal. However, if you want this screen to have the same feel as the original, you'll have to look elsewhere. Finally, do not follow the instructions they provide; they are extremely incomplete. On YouTube, there is a 45-minute tutorial on how to replace the LCD in an iPhone 6s. Keep an eye on that because it was extremely beneficial. If it hadn't been for the video, I would have made a mistake. P. br>br>P. br>br>P. br>br>P. Touching in three dimensions is possible.

The screen on my child's iPhone was completely shattered. Our installation was done by a friend. It didn't take long for them to figure it out, and they didn't seem irritated in the process. Her phone is in like-new condition and functions flawlessly. It was an excellent purchase that I would make again if the need arose;.

  I recorded my review as well as the phone's responsiveness and uploaded it to YouTube. To begin, I'd like to state that I've never changed the screen on an iPhone before. I was hesitant because the screen is inexpensive (which is a good thing, but I was concerned that it would be of poor quality) and I wasn't sure I'd be skilled enough to replace it myself. However, paying $30 for self-repair versus $180 for a store to do it seemed like a good deal. br>The screen is packaged with two screwdrivers for the iPhone's two types of screws, a suction cup, a guitar pick-like item for removing the screen, a prying tool for removing the screen, a tool to remove the SIM card, and tweezers. br>Instructions are included in the package. I used them, as well as a YouTube video, to change things up. br>According to another reviewer, the screen is not as responsive as the original iPhone screen. Maybe the screen was defective, but mine works flawlessly and has the same vibrant color as an original iPhone screen. The quality is exceptional. br>I'm a nurse, not a technician, so if I can do it, you can do it too. We paid $180 for my husband's iPhone 6s Plus screen a few months ago, and now we wish we had thought to replace it ourselves for a much lower cost.

So I bought this screen to replace it on an iPhone 6s. I've repaired a couple of iPhones before and they've all worked out fine. Everything worked except Touch ID after I installed the screen. So I figured it was possible that because the screen was new, I needed to contact Apple for a software reset. So I went to the Apple Store, and they did a diagnostic and reloaded the software on my phone without even asking if the screen had been replaced recently. They told me that my Touch ID wasn't working because of a problem with the screen. My screen works fine most of the time, but it can be overly sensitive at times and dial people at random, which I can usually fix by turning it off and on. However, the non-working Touch ID is caused by a faulty screen.

This is a comparison of this replacement screen to the original screen as well as other replacement screens I've used in the past. Colors are poorly represented on this replacement screen, which has a large dark point. The contrast between the colors is excessively high, and the image is darker. Taking photos is more difficult due to the inability to distinguish colors within the photo area due to the screen. The screen becomes brighter when the brightness is increased, but not as bright as when the screen is turned off, and the problematic contrast remains high. This isn't just a dark shade; it's a 'difficult to read' shade that makes the phone look like a crappy toy sticker. There is also a lack of clarity and color range in this display. I couldn't get the colors to match using the color filters settings, which I'd never used before. Another company provided a replacement for my wife's similar iPhone 6s, which is noticeably clearer and comparable to the original iPhone screen clarity than this one. This is the last screen I'll ever buy. I paid $21 dollars for this screen. The touch component is also failing, and the lower half of the screen only works on occasion. It appears to be overly sensitive as well as inaccurate.
