Global Repair has always produced high-quality merchandise. I would rather pay a few extra dollars for their LCDs than go with a cheaper brand because the cheaper brands tend to have touch issues almost immediately after installation and or start having issues after a few weeks, costing you TWICE as much to replace. br>br>Good product overall - delivery in a timely manner LCD that works well - So far, there have been no issues.
This screen has received both positive and negative reviews, but it has performed admirably thus far. Except when the screen is wet, the touch is generally good. The screen quality is surprising for the price; I know someone who got a screen for $5 less than this, and their screen is garbage in comparison. The original color of the screen is very similar to this one. The viewing angles appear to be adequate, but not quite as good as they were in the original. The 3d touch is quick and works 80% of the time. Touch id and auto brightness work well as well as well as well as well as well as well as well as You'll have to repurpose your original clear bracket for the camera. It came with adhesive, but it was for an older iPhone, possibly an iPhone 5, so I replaced it with a full waterproof seal I purchased on eBay. The plastic frame was also surprisingly light, only a smidgeon thicker than the original but barely noticeable. I was fortunate enough to receive a screen from a reliable batch. My phone was used as part of an Apple trade-in program, and it passed all of the requirements! I mailed it in and received a credit for $270 towards the purchase of my new iPhone XR.
Everything appeared to be in order at first, and I didn't mind the blue tint in the display because I knew I was getting a quick fix. After looking up a few How-To's, I decided to replace my screen. Because there were few to no instructions included with the screen and tools, I turned to videos. I used a screen protector and a Poetic brand case to ensure complete protection. I was walking down the street with my iPhone in my pocket when I collided with a bar stool a few days ago. I grabbed my phone and noticed a crack, not thinking much of the light tap. I thought it was just the screen protector, so I took it off, only to discover that it wasn't the protector that had cracked, but the screen itself. br>br>I was disappointed because I had put the proper screen protection on it and it still broke. This particular brand of screen protector is not one I would recommend. I did my research and tried to find a high-rated replacement before deciding on the passionTR screen replacement, but I made the wrong decision. I purchased the kit in June of this year, and I was disappointed to discover that it only lasted a year before breaking. Even a drop or a fall from a high vantage point would not be enough to kill you. It cracked from a light to medium tap from a stool while in my pocket and protected by a glass screen protector. I'm hoping that the company or Amazon will contact me and offer some advice on what I can do now that my screen has cracked again after less than 6 months since I purchased a replacement. This product has left me very disappointed. br>br>.

The tape that comes with the iPhone 7 plus is not compatible with it. When viewing the screen as shown in my picture, there are "splotches. " This may be acceptable to some people, but it is not acceptable to me. br>br>It Gets Worse - The colors are a lot grayer than on the OEM screen. br>br>Finally, I'd like to offer the following advice: It's probably OK if you're cheap as dirt and know what you're getting. For me, it's a no because I expect OEM performance from my customers. EDIT: br>br> I'm going to give this a one-star rating. The phone is protected by a tempered glass screen protector and is housed in a case. The phone fell out of my hand - The screen protector is in good condition, but the LCD has failed! It doesn't look like it's apple quality. Look, I don't expect Apple quality from a $20 screen, and I understand they have to cut corners to keep the price low, but they should have cut corners with the tools provided, not the product.
This wasn't for my own phone; I was simply repairing a broken iPhone 7s for my sister. br>Not only did I have to transfer the old home button, but also the upper earpiece, which made the process a little more difficult than I anticipated. The adhesive must be heated in order to be removed in both cases. br>Warning: the old adhesive will not stick to the new screen, making it more difficult to keep everything in place.
So I replaced the screen and something else at the same time, and the screen was incredibly simple to replace and work flawlessly. I might have been able to use it again if I hadn't replaced the other part of the phone. Bottom line, if you watch the video on how to replace the screen, you won't have any problems. Great product, and I'm glad it worked.
The screen was very nice, but I'm giving it 3 stars because they didn't mention that Apple would have to reprogram the touch I'd because this is a 3rd party part, and after replacing the screen due to Apple's B's, the touch stopped working.
My phone has been crashing on phone calls since I replaced the screen; I can't call or accept any calls without it crashing. There is no sound coming from the top speaker, but the front-facing camera is operational. I'm not sure whether or not the prox sensor is operational. At the very least, the computer works, and I can text. However, I'm not sure why replacing my screen caused my phone to crash when I tried to take a call. Also, the top speaker isn't working anymore. Putting my old screen back on to see if it's this screen that's causing my problems; I'd rather have a shattered screen than this stupid half-working screen; if it's my top flex cable that's broken, my front camera wouldn't work, right? Idk. It's extremely inconvenient to go through all of these tiny screws only to run into new problems.
