My iPhone XS Max's display screen was replaced for the first time. I watched a video twice, followed the product's instructions, and finished in under an hour! I'm very happy with the new screen; it works and looks fantastic! The product came with everything you need to finish the repair (including a magnetic mat with an illustration of the phone inside and screw locations so you "DO NOT get them mixed up"), but one suggestion I have for the company is to label each type of screw head you have to remove, as well as each screwdriver. Even with a lighted magnifying glass, at 58 years old, I couldn't tell! They're quite small. I strongly recommend this product, and the company provides excellent technical support if you require it.

Functionality is 90% Everywhere on the screen has a sense of its own, but not in the same way as the original screen. Choosing the flashlight from the Lock Screen does not always work. Because my thumb is on the edge of the screen, YouTube sometimes skips a lot. This was not the case with the original OLED screen. br>br>Installation was simple enough if you had the right tools, but don't skimp on them. iFixit is a great resource.

To this new lovely screen, there are eight green stripes down the front screen! I couldn't believe how simple it was to install the new screen and how great it looked when it was done! I'll take a picture of how it looks with the new screen!.

First and foremost, the kit included everything I required. The tools themselves were of good quality and did not fall apart while I was using them. The display is functional and appealing. Although there is a slight bluish difference in color, I don't mind because it costs half as much as an OLED screen. It also came with a new screen protector made of glass! I'd suggest it.

About a month ago, I purchased a screen replacement. I was a complete moron and did not conduct any research into the type of screen I required. I saw one and decided to order it because the price was reasonable. I was furious that I had broken my screen and needed a replacement as soon as possible; however, it is functional and does what it is supposed to do for the time being. The only difference is that anything yellow on the screen will be yellow in the middle, with a lime green tent on the outsides. The blue in the text message is darker than it should be. In some cases, I have to click on an app several times before the screen registers. (However, it's always the same app, so it's possible it's just my phone. ) It doesn't happen every week, but it happens at least twice. I usually just turn the screen off and on to fix it; it's only an issue when I'm in a hurry. I was surprised at how nice all of the tools that came with it were. It's fine if you just need a screen and don't want to spend $100, and the colors don't bother you. After a few days, you become accustomed to the colors. However, I wish I had double-checked the screen I required and paid the extra $40 for an OLED.

Like others before me, I was initially skeptical, but this kit included everything you'll need, including a screen protector! That's a deal you can't pass up. The instructions were crystal clear and simple to understand. The magnetic pad is a godsend because the last screen replacement I did was on an iPhone 6 and the screws were all over the place, whereas this xs max only has 9 screws (the magnetic pad keeps them all in place perfectly) and a few cable connections to pop. In 20 minutes or less, you'll have completed the task! The screen is an excellent match!.

BUYING THIS PRODUCT IS A MISTAKE! Update - THIS IS NOT A GOOD ITEM TO BUY! Instead, invest in an OLED television. The screen started acting up just two weeks after it was installed. A few spots continue to react to ghost contact. It's completely unusable, so I had to replace it with an OLED screen, which I had to reinstall.
- br>Follow up to the original post - Overall, this replacement kit fulfills its purpose. There are a couple of flaws, though. To begin with, the screen's color is slightly yellow. ish tone, which isn't the case with the original. Second, during the installation process, the tri-fold doors must be removed. The wing screwdriver isn't very effective. It's far from precise. As a result, I needed to go to a hardware store and buy a $40 tool kit. Finally, the 3D Touch does not function correctly. A light touch is not recognized by the screen; only a hard touch is recognized. Do I have any regrets about not purchasing an original screen from the Apple store? No. That cost is astronomical. However, I believe that some improvements are required in order for this to be worth $100.

It took me a little more than an hour. I recommend watching a couple of YouTube videos before you begin because they are extremely useful. br>br>I used the magnet mat to place all of the tiny screws in their proper locations to identify their proper locations. All of the necessary tools are included, though the rubber suction cup is very basic and does not hold up well. I also used toothpicks to remove glue residue and a flat Exacto blade for extra prying strength. To get a step-by-step guide, refer to the instruction sheet. step-by-step guide. br>br>One thing to keep in mind is that unless you have a professional firmware reader/writer (which most of us don't), you won't be able to burn the serial number and other information from the old screen to the new one. The "true tone" screen setting is lost as a result of this, but it's a small price to pay for a working iPhone. Give it a try. br>br> It's an LCD, not an official OLED, but it's crisp, clean, and bright, and it'll suffice if you don't want to fork over the $329 Apple wants.
