This iPhone 7 screen replacement kit is waterproof, which ensures that the screen and logic board stay in place.
No, I don't think these are polarized issues. Wearing polarized sunglasses, on the other hand, may change the appearance of the screen.

Ok.
1. A video of how to disassemble and reassemble was sent to me by an Amazon seller. Really helpful and nice. I'd like to add that the video shows how to remove the ear piece and camera; don't be like my husband and try to remove these items when replacing the screen. However, the video has a lot of benefits! Helpful.
2. The screen removal and reinstallation process is a pain in the neck; you'll need patience and nerves to avoid making a mistake. Apple, I thank you.
3. The screen in our room had been blown out! So the suction cup didn't want to hold like it was supposed to, but no worries, a little wiggle wiggle and it came off just fine. br>Everything works as it should, including the home bottom and touch screen. It's in excellent condition and comes with a screen protector; don't be like me and break it. So you get a kit with all of the tools you'll need to replace your screen and home button, as well as a how-to video and a nice screen protector. My favorite part is the included magnet, which features an image of the phone's interior! Also included is a diagram of where your screws should go so you can keep track of them. It was well worth the investment! And, hello, everything is yours to keep for the future!.
The positive aspects include: I was able to complete the installation, and everything appears to be in working order! br>Contrary to popular belief, The tools in the kit were not used in the video that was sent. I ended up having to look for more videos to help me out. br>Advice - br>The video leads you to believe that you must remove all of the internal components (such as the camera). This is not the case. All you have to do is take out the home button and replace it. If you need more help, look up a video on YouTube. br>br>The pry tool that came with the kit was made of plastic. You'll need another tool or a pry tool that you'll have to buy separately. The video's tool can be found here. Screws are teeny-tiny little things. I couldn't figure out which screw driver to use for each screw. The magnetic sheet did not appear to be the same as the previous one. The three-lobed screwdriver (red) is required for the home button on the iPhone 7. I used the incorrect screw driver and nearly stripped all of the screws. br>br>At the end of the day, this screen served its purpose. As a result, four stars are awarded. br>br>This is a good purchase if you have patience and good eyesight (or use a magnifier).
sorta. UPDATE: Giving an extra star for customer service because the company contacted me and offered me a replacement or a refund because of the issues listed below. br>br>Preliminary reviewbr>- br>I'm used to installing these types of devices as well as working with electronics in general. I found the screen's kit to be quite useful, and the presentation as a whole is excellent. I do, however, have a few complaints about the product. br>1 - the linkages There are three different ribbon cables with tiny connectors that must be connected, and I discovered that some of them don't quite fit. I had to remove and remount them several times before it worked. br>br>2 and 3 are most likely related to 1br>br>2 - The response of the digitizer is poor. Some touches aren't registered, and the phone will type things on its own from time to time. br>br>3 - If you're looking for a unique way to express yourself, try using the words "innov display. The display appears to be of lower resolution than the original, and there are vertical streaks visible on it. br>br>4 - the ability to last The glass does not appear to be gorilla glass. The phone has already developed a couple of cracks as a result of extremely shallow drops (6" off the ground?). )br>br>5 - )br>br> There is no fingerprint scanner available. Perhaps I missed something in the description, but I lost fingerprint functionality after discarding the original screen from my phone, which was crushed, and I guess I had to replace it here.
I had purchased this screen replacement and had done many before, but my last snap in the screen cracked. I always put the glass protector on first, just in case the screen cracks while being installed. I emailed the company, and they were so wonderful and helpful in getting me a new one at a reduced price; they didn't have to do anything because it was shipped and delivered in perfect condition, but they responded and were extremely helpful. If they continue to carry them, I will ALWAYS buy any screen replacements I get for customers. Also, if you've read that the home button on the new screen doesn't work, you'll need to transfer your old home button to the new one. I've never had a problem with any of this company's products. I will undoubtedly make use of them and recommend them to everyone I know.
