This is an excellent screen replacement. I repair a lot of phones, and this one has a smooth touch response and vibrant colors. Update: br>Today was the last day for the screen. The touch was still functional, but the image was not visible. Fortunately, I had my original cracked screen, which I replaced on my phone. This is by far the worst experience I've ever had with an iPhone replacement screen. The screen has died after 5 months. A hundred dollars was squandered. This is the second-worst replacement screen I've ever seen, trailing only an iPhone SE screen with half the brightness and resolution of the original. Installation problems: br>br>
1. the 0. They provided a 6mm Y tip screw driver, but it didn't fit the screws inside the phone. I examined the tip under a microscope and discovered that it was deformed, preventing it from seating properly in the screw tops. I had to order a new y-tip screw driver, which was perfect. Here's where you can find it: There are gaps in the instructions. They skipped disassembling and reassembling the metal plate on the back of the OEM screen. This wasn't a problem for me because it's similar to other iPhone models I've worked on, but it could be for newcomers. Performance problems: br>br>
1. Colors are a little off in this picture. The whites have a slight green tint to them. It's only a speck, but it's noticeable to my eye. However, because I do video color correction for a living, I may notice it more than the average user.
2. The screen's usable viewing angle is narrower than the OEM screen. Unless you're looking directly at the screen, the colors and contrast shift noticeably.
3. Touch isn't the most effective method of communication. To wake up the phone, I usually have to tap it on the screen several times. Touching the phone does not always wake it up, so I have to use the side button to wake it up.
4. The original side bevel is sharper. The OEM screen's glass had a nice side curve that I liked. The edge of this screen is more defined. They compensated by enlarging the bevel's plastic portion. This is a minor annoyance, but it is still irritating.
5. When the device is plugged in to charge or charged wirelessly, phantom touches appear on the screen. It's not a problem if you don't use your phone while it's charging, but if you do, it'll act strangely, as if you're rapidly pressing random buttons on your screen. When texting, it sends out random messages. It has dialed people all by itself. It acted erratically while surfing the web. br>br>Excellent points include:
1. The brightness and resolution of the screen appear to be comparable to that of the original.
2. The adhesive was included to keep the phone dry and dust-free. br>br>Conclusion: br>br> In terms of tools and instructions, this replacement screen kit is currently incomplete. You may need to purchase replacement tools that actually work, and you'll have to either be bold and bridge the instruction gaps yourself, or find a YouTube video that walks you through it. If you complete the replacement, you'll be left with a screen that doesn't look as good as the original, doesn't respond to touch as well, and, according to other reviewers, may fall apart and stop working entirely. I'm used to paying around $30 for replacement screens that perform admirably, come with high-quality tools, and detailed instructions. Despite the fact that this kit is four times the price, it falls short, and I will not recommend it to anyone until the screen, tool, and instruction quality issues have been addressed.

My husband had no trouble installing it, but after a few months, the screen became black and the touch screen stopped working. So I went out and bought another screen kit, blaming myself for dropping the first one. My husband installed it without difficulty, but it stopped working after a few months, so I returned it. They replaced it for free, and everything worked fine for seven months before returning to black. I couldn't replace it for free this time, so I paid to have it repaired by a reputable company in my neighborhood. This kit was purchased to repair the shattered screen on my wife's phone. Before I started, I watched a couple of YouTube videos and read the instructions - to familiarize myself with the phone and know what to expect when I pick it up Everything I needed was included in this kit, and the screen replacement comes with the backer plate already attached, eliminating the need to transfer the old one from the broken screen. It's also nice that the kit comes with a new adhesive gasket to keep the iPhone's water resistance. br> Because the parts are so small, particularly the screws, the repair is a bit tedious. It's not that difficult if you take your time. The magnetic mat included in the kit aids in keeping everything organized and oriented so it can be placed back where it belongs. Everything went smoothly, and I believe the kit aided in the process.

It works perfectly, it's packaged perfectly, and even the screen protector is nice. br>I've replaced a lot of iPhone screens, and this provided the best, most comprehensive tools. Although the written instructions (with pictures) are helpful, I also needed a YouTube video to supplement the information. In a heartbeat, I'd purchase this kit again.
