According to one DP - br>br>Black ProMist filters are simply White (or Regular) ProMist filters with an additional layer of black specks added to compensate for the loss of contrast caused by the mist particles. As a result, halation artifacts are reduced slightly. This has the effect of making the Black version look a little more subtle in effect when compared to a regular ProMist of the same strength number (i.e. A 1/4 Black ProMist appears to be slightly weaker than a 1/4 ProMist.)br>br> br>br>I don't use Black ProMists very often. When shooting digitally, I can control the loss of black when using regular ProMists by adjusting the Black level in the camera, so if the camera has a shallower depth of field, I don't have to worry about the black specks coming into focus and creating a "dirty windshield effect." Unfortunately, the answer is no. It's just a single filter that, when used correctly and in combination with stronger filters (1/4, 1/2), creates a subtle and beautiful effect. But I'm not sure why that picture is being used.

For my X100F, I purchased this. The filter gives my photos a natural film look that I couldn't get in Photoshop, which is exactly what I wanted. I needed a very subtle but noticeable change, so the 1/8th was ideal.
They're not brand new, so be cautious. The one I bought appeared to have been well-used and loved. The filter and packaging were both scratched. The good news is that you can get a refund if you return the item. God bless you.
For my 24-inch project, I have the 1/4 and 1/8. 70 years old and 70 years old It's been a fantastic 200. When I used it on my 400 f/2 lens, however, it was a disaster. It had an unfavorable outcome at number eight. I'm still giving this filter a 5/5 because it works well on the right lenses, but not all lenses will benefit from it. As a result, keep this in mind. But when it works, it's fantastic.

Unsealed version provided. Use a film on both sides to filter the unclean. A minor blemish on the glass that could be removed with cleaning. This may not be an issue because it is a mist filter. It must be put to the test. It should be spotless and factory sealed under covid, in my opinion. Amazon llc supply sold it to me as "new. ".
One of the advantages of digital is that it is extremely clear, almost to the point of being too crisp. The black mist filter softens things up for a more natural cinematic look when shooting video, and it will also soften photos.
The filter was damaged when it arrived. Item was returned because the glass was loose and the metal rings felt like they were about to fall apart.
Oh yeah. It's a lovely subtle difference. When you combine this with any other version, the results are incredible. It looks great when I combine it with the 1/2 filter.
