Questions & Answers

Is this compatible with the Nintendo 3DS system?

When answering, some people forget (or are unaware) that Amazon combines all versions of a product into one. Yes, it will work if you are talking about the 32GB or less. No, it won't work with anything larger than 64GB. It must be an SDHC card with a FAT32 file system. Right now, I'm using a Transcend 32GB card in my 3DS, and it's working fine, so other brands should work as well. I rarely use more than about 10GB on my 3DS's Samsung 4GB SDHC card, which I backup to my PC (copying the entire card to a folder on my PC). I also copy any image files that I don't need to keep from the 3DS to my PC. I'll just use the 3DS for what I need. If you have a lot of images to load, the image viewer can be slow. If you have a lot of files on your SD card, the MP3 player may take a while to load, but once it does, it works fine. I have the original 3DS, and it isn't the fastest system for working with multiple files, such as music or photos. br>However, because I frequently carry the 3DS around, I keep some files on the card that the 3DS can't use but are useful to have, and the 32GB card isn't completely overkill. I can store my resume and other documents on it. I simply remove the card and insert it into my laptop or PC to gain access to these files if necessary. These files will be ignored by the 3DS.

In two weeks, I'll be photographing a wedding. Is this a card that you think will work? Is there a better option available?

Sorry for the inconvenience, and I hope you didn't take offence at the response. If you still need a card, make sure it's a sdhc uhs-1 card with a minimum speed of 80 megabits per second. If your camera has two SD card slots, buy two 32GB cards as a backup in case one fails or is stolen.

Is it possible to use it with the Nikon 340?

This SanDisk card should work with the Nikon L340, but it must first be formatted. To do so, go to the Nikon menu and select the format option, then allow the device to format the disk for that camera. If any images are present on the disk, formatting will remove them. The disk will be ready to use in a matter of seconds.

Is it suitable for a long-range camera such as the Nikon P900?

SanDisk SDHC cards will work fine in the P900; however, you will need to format the disk in the camera before using it; this is normal even when the disc is brand new; keep in mind that formatting wipes the disc clean off even when it is brand new.

I've never used a better memory card in my life! This memory card was purchased to be used in my video game camera
5/5

I'd never used a card larger than 8 GB before, but this one was on sale for an unbeatable price, so I decided to give it a shot. br>br>For weeks, this thing sat in front of the game camera. This card held up well in the rain, snow, and numerous windy nights. br>br>When I returned to my game camera to see what kind of wild animals were passing through on the trails, what I discovered was shocking. br>br>I had left the camera in film mode by accident. When a wild beast approached the camera, this card activated and began saving the video that the game camera was recording. br>br>I had footage of a variety of frightening animals, including mountain lions and wolves, on the prowl for their next prey. The video of a cougar pursuing a helpless doe seconds before he pounced and grabbed that night's dinner was the best of all. br>br>This amazing video was right at the end of the card's memory; if I had stuck with the 8 gb card, I would have missed out on the video of a lifetime; who knows what crazy things I would have missed out on in the past, but now I know I will not miss anything in the future, all thanks to this GREAT MEMORY CARD!.

Great Sticks, but keep an eye out for flaws
3/5

We were pleased to find them on Amazon for a much lower price than local stores after previously owning several identical sticks. We bought four memory sticks, and two of them turned out to be excellent. We were unable to return the two defective sticks and had to purchase two more locally for the upcoming shoot; the first stick was chipped in the corners and the second was cracked all the way along the card; we were unable to return the two defective sticks and had to purchase two more locally for the upcoming shoot. Overall, I'm happy with these memory cards and will buy them again in the future. However, I'll buy them locally to avoid defects, as we've never had a problem with them in the 15 other identical sticks we've used and bought in the past.

Sad day! Over 400 photographs were lost in the fire
3/5

I won't be purchasing anything else! I just finished a photo shoot and went to load the photos onto my computer, only to discover that they were missing. I was able to see them through my camera. When you insert the card into the computer, they aren't there. However, when I go back into the camera, it says "Cannot Playback Image," despite the fact that this is only my second time using the card.

Most of us will never require more than this
5/5

We bought this card before going on a trip to Europe so that we wouldn't have to track down multiple SD cards. Thousands of images (most of which were shot in RAW) and a few hours of 1080p video (shot at 60 frames per second using Sony's XAVC codec) were easily stored on 128 gigs. We used a Sony a5100 camera, which performed admirably. Its writing speed was lightning fast, and moving files from the card to the computer was lightning fast; after purchasing this card, I regret purchasing lower storage cards; From now on, this is most likely going to be my only card. This is far more storage than I will ever need on any trip as a recreational photographer/videographer.

READING SPEED HAS BEEN INCREASED; WRITING SPEED HAS VARIED
5/5

The SanDisk Ultra 80MB/s card is a replacement for the Ultra 40MB/s card. Only the read speed of 80MB/s is important. SanDisk specifies a Class 10 write speed, which means the card can write at least 10MB/s continuously but does not specify a maximum write speed. I put these Ultra 80MB/s cards to the test: (2) Compare the 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB Ultra 40MB/s cards to the previous Ultra 40MB/s cards. I test with CrystalDiskMark (5 passes, 1GB random data) and USB 3. 0. There is no card reader. When using a USB 3. 0 port on your computer, this allows for quick downloads from the card. There is no card reader. The use of USB 2. It restricts the speed to around 35MB/s when the value is zero. WRITE RATE: WRITE RATE: WRITE RATE: WRITE RATE: WRITE RATE: WRITE Benchmarks aren't always accurate! The results show a significant difference in write speed between the cards in the benchmarks. One 32GB card had a transfer rate of 43MB/s, while another had a transfer rate of 20MB/s. 9MB/s. During the transfer of actual files, the write speed varies. The benchmark score for a 128GB card was 38 out of 100. Although the write speed is 5MB/s, when transferring a large file, I see a range of 16-32MB/s. Throughout the transfer, the speed was maintained at 24 MB/s. Only the faster 32GB card was able to maintain a write speed of more than 40MB/s throughout the test. There was also a significant difference in 512K random write performance between cards (one megabyte per second vs. twenty megabytes per second). 24MB/s). br>br>Write at a rate of 15 words per minute. Ultra cards appear to have a typical transfer rate of 20MB/s. They're good for general photography, but not fast enough for continuous shooting for long periods of time. If the write speed isn't fast enough, once you reach the camera's buffer limit, it can become very sluggish. The write speed should be sufficient if you only take one shot at a time. br>br>I was tempted to dock a star due to the wide range of cards, but they all outperformed their speed ratings. It's a plus that the READ speed is faster than before. The actual write speed of the new cards may not be much faster than that of older cards. You might get a faster sample, but don't expect outstanding write performance if you buy this card!.

Within two weeks, it will be ruined
3/5

I bought two of these cards, and they were both corrupted and unreadable by my computer within two weeks. Over 1000 photos were lost as a result of my error. Because of problems with their cards, SanDisk informed me that they do not provide file recovery or reimbursement. Unhelpful in the extreme. If you value your photos and data, you should look for a card that stands behind its product. It was far too short to lose everything in just two weeks. Fortunately, Amazon's customer service is excellent, and I received a refund.

Perfect Memory Card with a Huge Storage Capacity! This SanDisk 64GB memory card is absolutely fantastic! I had just gotten a new Canon camera and didn't have a memory card, so I went with this one because of the large amount of space for the low price! Exactly what I needed
5/5

This memory card has a lot of pictures on it - br>br> that can be recorded in ultra-high definition and contains a large number of high-definition videos Excellent writeability and fast speeds. When I want to remove the photos/videos from the memory card, I simply plug it into my computer/laptop and the files are easily removed. This memory card comes highly recommended!.
