Questions & Answers

I'm always hesitant to purchase Sandisk memory cards in "frustration-free packaging." How can one be certain that the card is genuine?

You should try to stay away from packaging that is designed to make your life easier. It's possible that it's a forgery or a repackaged card. If you're concerned about this, stick to standard.

On June 30th, 2020, I bought a Sandisk Extreme. Everything was chased while attempting to transfer images. Now I'm unable to locate my images on the disk. Kindly assist! ?

There are a slew of other questions here. First, how are you trying to view the contents of the card? I use a USB card reader, and I open File Explorer on my computer, click on it, and a menu appears on the far left side, with USB Drive (E:) at the bottom. ) and then there's a folder called - DCIM, if you click on that folder on the right hand side of my screen, another folder will appear, and if you click on that, it will display everything on the card; after that, you can simply click on a single file to view or open it. If nothing is listed under DCIM when you open it, the files were not saved or the card has some other issue. I'm not sure if that helps, but that's how it works on my Windows 10 Home Edition computer.

For a Yamaha sy 85 keyboard, do I need a waveform card?

Floppy disks and a proprietary MCD64 ram card are used in the Yamaha SY series of keyboards. SD had never been heard of before.

Put it to the test. I bought this memory based on customer reviews, but as soon as I got it, I tested it to see if I could get close to 150 MB/s. Unfortunately, the results of the tests were not even close. I would not have written this review if my test results were even close to what the package claims, but they were far less. As you can see from the screenshots, I'm averaging around 40 MB/s.

When I first received, I was extremely dissatisfied with the poor quality
5/5

I had assumed that my Nikon camera had worn out after four years of use before purchasing these. I was so disappointed with the degraded quality when I first received it as part of a package that included a card. br>However, after shooting some pictures with this card, I discovered that my camera is STILL WORKING GREAT and that the only reason it appeared to be lacking quality was because I had started using cheap cards from local stores. I was purchasing the inexpensive ones in order to keep the photos on the cards as a backup. br>While these cards aren't particularly expensive, I learned about the "number in the circle" after doing some research. This one gets a ten out of ten, while my cheapies got a four. Don't make the same mistake as me; instead, go for the ten!.

It's a cinch to use
5/5

The faster transfer rates were the main reason I bought it. Not so much in terms of the camera - Rather, it's for transferring photos to a computer. I can attest to the fact that it performs exactly as expected. While I don't fill these guys up on a regular basis, it was a little inconvenient to have to wait 15 minutes for all of the files to transfer. The average wait time is now 3 to 4 minutes. br>On the camera side, I shoot a lot of video and have never had any issues with buffering.

Storage is more important than speed
5/5

Having a UHS-II card II is nice, but having more memory cards with plenty of space is preferable to having fewer cards because, like everything else, it's not a question of "if," but "when"—so stock up on SD cards. Don't overextend yourself because if you lose that card, you'll be out a lot of money. If you're on a Mac, try Blackmagicdesign's Disk Speed Test to see if the memory card you're buying is fake. h2testw is a Windows program that I recommend. 1. br>br> 2. br>br> 3. br>br> 4. b br> 1. It's Sandisk, which means it's dependable, long-lasting, and offers the best value for money.

The SD card in my Fuji digital camera had been acting up for a while, frequently throwing card errors on card insertion, so I decided to upgrade the flash memory in it
5/5

It had recently deteriorated to the point where it had completely disintegrated, so I went in search of a replacement. The SanDisk Extreme's claimed 90MB/s transfer rate is a huge improvement over the previous card, which was also Sandisk but was a Class 10 card rated for only 10MB/s sustained transfer (if you search a little, you'll find). br>br>My camera had no trouble accepting the new card, recognizing it right away and formatting it without hesitation. In an application like this, it's difficult to judge changes in transfer rate, but the camera appears to be saving photos more quickly. Certainly, the price difference between this and a Class 10 card is small enough to make it a no-brainer. After I shoot some video, I'll be able to get a better idea of how the transfer works. br>br>This one gets two Technical Thug thumbs up.

I was overjoyed when the card arrived, but when I opened it and inserted it into my camera, it said READ ERROR, so I assumed it needed to be formatted first
3/5

I put it in my computer and it won't open, and every time I try formatting, Windows refuses, saying it can't finish formatting. I checked the size of the card in Disk Management and it shows total capacity of 31 MB, so I tried different fix methods like chkdsk and a couple of br>I contacted Amazon and they were kind enough to send me a replacement; I'll update the review once I get the new one, which hopefully works.
