I did, however, look up "Canon 50mm F1" on the internet. 4" and was able to locate 58mm lens hoods to go with it. If I'm not mistaken, your lens is a prime, so you won't have to deal with the vignetting that my zoom has. I kept this hood in case I needed it in the future, but I'm using the flower hood that came with my main lens to avoid vignetting. This metal hood has a nice appearance and appears to be of decent quality. I apologize for not being able to provide more details. I'd send an email to Adorama and inquire about it. I'm sure you've heard of them, but they're affiliated with Amazon and have fantastic customer service.

T30! This is a must-have for the X-Men. T30. I have medium to large hands, and it is a significant improvement, and the camera feels secure in one hand. br>br>The added rubber film on the inside also protects the body from scratches. br>br>On the right side, the strap notch has softened. The corners are rounded and pleasant to the touch. On mine, I use a lanyard wrist strap. br>br>There is a separate hole for mounting a tripod plate that does not interfere with the mounting screw. I'm a big fan of the Arca-Swiss system. This bracket is made for mounting in the Swiss style. br>br>It's a must-have! If only they'd match the silver finish and/or make the grip area a different color, it'd be perfect.
It's ideal to provide an additional grip surface for holding the camera, especially for those with larger hands. The bottom rails help to protect the camera's bottom from dings and abrasions. The weight difference is insignificant. Overall, it's a practical and appealing piece of equipment.
With this small camera, you'll have a little more stability.
Fits my camera well but is still a little small for me; a plus is that it relocates the mount hole to the middle of the lens rather than the middle of the camera, allowing me to install the quicky pad without having to remove the battery.
The build quality (solid metal) and ergonomics (rounded corners) of this product are both excellent, making it easy to hold my X-ray machine. T30 is a lot more comfortable and convenient.
On my xt30, it works perfectly! The quality, fit, and finish are excellent.
For vintage rangefinder cameras, this metal tilted and vented lens hood is ideal. It gives the camera a great look and functions as needed to protect the lens, and it comes at a great price.
Using on the 18-inch screen Kit lens of 55mm focal length. It fits perfectly and is far superior to the lens hood that came with it.
