I haven't decided yet. I was able to use it to trace through fabric and it worked perfectly. It appeals to me, especially given the low cost.
As the previous respondent pointed out, the cord isn't necessarily universal. The end of the cable does not plug into the "pigtail" that comes out of the pad, nor is it a micro USB or C type cable. The other end of the cable has a standard USB connector that connects to an adapter, which then connects to the wall. The tablet is 5 volts, and the adapter is a 5V/2Amp (2000A). This is a more common adapter, but it is not the same as an iPhone/iPad or Android cord. A close up photo of the power supply system can be found in my review. If you're not using the one that came with the pad, you'll want to make sure the voltage is the same as the OME.
This is the most effective light I've ever encountered. There are several options for adjusting the light to your liking.
This isn't meant to be used to connect to a computer. It's a lighted tablet that lets you see what you're working on through the screen. Because of the small patterns, I bought mine to use with diamond painting. It's fantastic, and I'm extremely pleased with it.

The customer service is outstanding! This is a fantastic light board that does exactly what it says on the tin! It's ultra-thin, ultra-sleek, and extremely bright! To give you an idea, I placed a watercolor painting on 140lb watercolor paper on the light board, then layered not one, but three pieces of 70lb paper on top, and the watercolor painting is still visible underneath! That is the power of light! Any 2D artist who needs to trace on higher-quality paper will find this tool invaluable. In addition, the customer service is superb! I contacted them with questions about the product, and they responded within hours, which impressed me not only with the product, but also with the company as a whole. It was well worth the money! The light pad is incredible. Diamond Painting is something I do with it. I use the light pad on a daily basis, so I needed something bigger and more convenient. Great size for the price, arrived in good condition and on time, and I like the three brightness settings. It comes with a long cord that allows you to easily move it away from an outlet or power source. A small cord emerges from the light pad, which you connect to the longer cord, which then connects to the power source. My purchase has made me extremely happy.
She'd have to turn on nearly every light in the house (open floor plan) to see the work piece before she could use it. I heard a very contented "Oooooohhhh" when she first put the work piece on this product and turned it on. I knew I'd hit the ball out of the park with this one. Stevie Wonder could see the tiny squares because it brightens up the screen so well. This is a product that I strongly suggest.
I was blown away by the size of this light pad. It's exactly what I needed for my diamond paintings, and it works perfectly. The lighting's three levels are extremely useful. The extra-long power cord is also something I appreciate. This item comes highly recommended from me.
I sit on my couch and paint diamonds while using a lap desk and a light pad. I believe that because the other pads were not used "on a desktop" and the pad was moved from my lap to the table a few times throughout the evening, the movement may have contributed to the possibility of them loosening, but the design feature is poor from the concept and the connection is not supported in a way that seats it securely into the actual pad. As I considered another light pad, I began reading more reviews and discovered that nearly every light pad with this type of micro USB connection for a power supply had a number of people complaining about the same type of connection failure. I was looking for a pad with a different type of connection when I found this one. Its power supply system is fantastic! The light's cable measures 10 feet in length. BONUS! The cable is connected to the light pad via a "pigtail" short cord. You don't directly plug the cable into the pad; instead, the "pigtail" is attached to the pad; the cable is reinforced, and it appears that it will protect the power supply system's integrity. This is the ONLY pad I've found with a power supply option like this, and the company should make a big deal out of it. It's fantastic! The light is larger than I anticipated, but I was looking for an electrical supply when I made my purchase, and I've come to appreciate the larger size, which still fits perfectly on my lap desk. There are four small non-essential items in it. On the back of the light, there are skid disks. Another thoughtful addition. There are three levels of light. The light is a "solid" light pad, not a series of small matrix-like lights. like the dots on the pad, which were also present on one of my previous pads. I've had the light for about a week and have already put it to use twice. I sleep for four hours every night and enjoy it. It is without a doubt one of the best books I have ever read. If I run into any issues, I'll update my review. I must commend you on your delivery, which was a day ahead of schedule.
So far, everything seems to be working as it should. The short cord that extends from the light pad and connects to the USB/wall plug is my only concern. I'm hoping it doesn't fall out of the unit or split. The Lifetime Warranty, on the other hand, was one of the reasons I chose Craftymint. Any business that stands behinds its product makes a customer feel more confident in their purchase.
Without actually drawing on my watercolor paper, I can quickly trace over my master sketch or simply paint a base layer over it. My daughter also uses it to trace maps at school. It's also useful for free handwriting because I can use ruled paper and write on a sheet on top of it. br>I like how it has three brightness settings, so it can be used in a variety of lighting conditions. Also, because the cord is long, I don't have to sit close to an outlet or use an extension cord.
It comes with a clip, so you can use it at an angle without it slipping off the table. The pad has three light settings, which is very useful, and it can be used with either the battery or the plug. It's very bright and clean! Without it, I will never be able to paint diamonds!.
