Questions & Answers

Is it possible to use the anamorphic lens in this situation?

The anamorphic lens is compatible with this case. However, because the diameters of the 58mm and fisheye lenses were larger than the hole in the foam, I was unable to get them to fit.

Is it possible to take out the foam? Because I read in some reviews that it doesn't fit the most recent lenses, I decided to purchase it. ?

Based on what I saw on the internet, I was also concerned about the fit; at first, the lens fit snugly into the foam holes, but after a few uses, the holes began to stretch. The lenses are now held firmly in place, and removing and replacing them with one hand is relatively simple. The foam appears to be removable, but I believe this is unnecessary and would result in the lenses rattling around in the pouch. Overall, this product has met my expectations.

Is it compatible with M series lenses such as the 58mm telephoto and macro?

Yes. Both are present in my possession.

This is a very attractive little case
3/5

It is not possible to use two lenses at the same time. I assumed the Moment Tele and Wide Angle would fit together in the case, but no such luck; the foam in the case is too tight to fit even one lens comfortably. To get the one lens to fit, I had to place it on a hard surface and push and twist it into place, but it still didn't sit completely in the foam. Because I chose to use this pouch on a backpack strap, removing and replacing the len while wearing it on your chest strap would be nearly impossible. I considered cutting the foam back, but at $40, I couldn't justify taking a chance. I'll give it back to you. Now I'm worried that the other $20 pouch will be tampered with in the same way. sized.

The case is nice, but the details aren't very good
3/5

The exterior is well-built and appears to be weather-resistant. The fabric appears to be water-resistant, and the zipper seam appears to be well-protected. The padding on the inside is also very nice; it will keep the lenses in place. br>br>The issue is that pressing the lens into the padding is difficult. Instead of applying straight pressure, twisting it in works best. It is less difficult to remove a lens. The bottom lens is difficult to insert and remove because the case's zippered front ends too high up, obstructing lens insertion and removal. If you were to pick up the newly-released the- A lens won't fit into the padding with it on, so you'll have to leave it crumpled in the case, and two lenses with the cordage equivalent of a rear lens cap might not work. br>br>The hook and loop closure on the horizontal and vertical attachment areas is quite weak, and the synthetic material to which the hook and loop is attached is quite thin, so I expect it to deteriorate sooner than you'd expect from a tiny $40 pouch. It would have been better to use a heavy nylon webbing. br>br>It has been returned.

The case needs to be redesigned because the Velcro isn't strong enough
3/5

Would have lost it — and the two lenses — to a tire if I hadn't sensed something the first time out, right in the middle of a busy St. Augustine street. I'm not going to put my faith in it any longer. The Velcro is insufficiently strong. Furthermore, while it is cute, it is way TOO compact; you have to really drill the lenses into the foam, and the bottom one is so tightly impacted due to the size, small opening in the foam, and zipper mechanism that it (the bottom lens) is for the most part inaccessible for quick changes.

Lens Pouch that can be attached
4/5

To see which one I preferred, I ordered both the Attachable Lens Pouch and the Lens Pouch. The Lens Pouch remained in my possession, while the Attachable Lens Pouch was returned. The Attachable Lens Pouch came with a foam holder that held two lenses, completely isolating them for safe transport. However, this made removing and replacing each lens more difficult, and you couldn't use or didn't need the microfiber cloth. The lens was packaged in a drawstring lens pouch. The front flap zipped open slightly, but not enough to make dealing with the lens at the bottom simple. It is not waterproof due to the exposed zipper. The pouch was small and contained a nice place to store the lens brush. It was made of synthetic waterproof/resistant material and had a nice place to store the lens brush. It's a little too much for my needs, and it's $20 more than the fabric/leather lens pouch.

This is a fantastic idea
3/5

The execution was poor. Moment has made a major blunder here. Great concept, but poorly executed (and possibly prematurely). I was required to consume a pre-meal beverage. Just mustering the Hulk strength required to ram one lens (especially with the rear lens cap attached) into the oddly shaped foam spaces was a workout in itself. The zipper seam does not even extend far enough down to allow easy insertion and removal of the bottom lens! No, there isn't. WAY. This could be used to make things easier to find. It's far, far too difficult to get a single lens out of this pouch while you're on the go. Taking out a lens is a difficult task in and of itself. I'd definitely miss a shot if I had to take one on the spur of the moment with a lens in this pouch. br>br>I'm really hoping Moment updates this product because it's a fantastic idea. This would be fantastic if it could be perfected.

For the money, it's not much
3/5

This item, as well as the back lens cover, should be included with any lens purchased. For the past 38 years, I've used Nikon lenses and have never paid extra for a hard case or front or rear lens covers. By leaving these items out of my mind, time is cheap. $5. 00 for a teeny-tiny cap on the back? Really? A case large enough to hold a small dill pickle (what a brilliant idea). Anyway, don't worry about it; just put two lenses in an old sock. Moment used to be sold, but not anymore.

I felt compelled to write a review because I almost didn't buy it because of all the negative reviews about how the new lenses didn't fit
5/5

br>br>I have two lenses in my case, the most recent 58mm telephoto and the most recent 18mm wide, and I've had no trouble fitting them both into the carrying case. Yes, it's a close fit, but that's precisely what I'm looking for. I don't want them to rattle around, especially because the case is attached to your shoulder strap. br>br>The zipper works well and the fit is excellent; I especially like how compact it is, making it an excellent travel and exploration case. If my lens collection expands, I won't hesitate to purchase a second case and attach it to my shoulder strap. It would become clumsy and inconvenient to transport if it grew too large. br>br>Carrying case for Love this Moment. It's a little pricey for such a small case, but it appears to be well-made and protects my lenses well so far. Even if the fit appears to be better, I would not put the lenses in the case without the rubber lens cover on them. Because the top of the case has the least padding, you'll want the shock absorption that the lens covers provide to protect your lenses if it falls and lands on the top. I wouldn't be surprised if the lenses were damaged if it landed on the top cover without the lens covers on. However, I believe that was the intention of the bag's design - The lenses must be in there with their rubber lens caps on.

For moment lenses, this is a nice two-lens and lens-cleaner holder
4/5

Moment lenses are packaged in a small pouch. This belt holder, on the other hand, holds two lenses in a small case. It can also be used to store the Mobile Lens Cleaning Pen, which is available separately. The lenses are kept in a safe and secure position. Most of the lens caps were able to be used. With Velcro and straps, the pouch is secured to a belt. Larger lenses, unfortunately, do not fit well. The Tele 58 lens is slightly too large, but it can be squeezed in. In addition, the macro lens is oddly shaped and does not fit well.
