They will only work (read or write) if your HP desktop has a Blu-ray drive, as others have stated. In order to write to these disks, I needed to add a drive, which I did.

Despite the fact that I knew it was CMC Magnetic media, I purchased it. My suspicions were correct; it's a piece of garbage. Every disc could only withstand two or three rewrites before becoming unreadable. If you burn movies on this garbage, your blu-ray player will become unusable. To get the disc out of a Blu-ray player, you must unplug and re-plug it. When I contacted Verbatim, they informed me that CMC has dedicated production lines for their discs. That appears to be a lie.
This is the way to go if you want to store your documents for free. Want to free up 250 GB on your hard drive, watch the content, and then delete it? BD-XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX The use of RE is an excellent choice. Long after the Disc had been burned, I even replaced a faulty file with a functional one. Verbatim is a brand I trust because of its versatility.
I needed rewriteables to test my Blu Ray burner and software (Pinnacle Studio and Nero), as well as to test my Blu Ray burner and software (Pinnacle Studio and Nero). For me, these are ideal. I've only used one of the discs in the pack so far. I've written and erased it a dozen times, and it still works.
I've burned over 100 Family and Travel movie discs and have never had a problem with these. When I need it done right on the first pass, I always go with these, according to the Corel Video Studio Support guys I spoke with. While 2x is slower, it makes for a more reliable burn when you have a complex movie project.
Where large data storage is required, the product is reasonably priced, and there have been no problems with data storage on the disk.
These are the Re-created Re-created Re-created Recreated Re writable Blu-ray Disc blank media discs for rays br>Single-sided 25 gigabytes at 2x speed br>br>every time is perfect.
br>br>In most cases, Verbatim does not use CMC to distribute its media. This is the only time I've ever seen Verbatim do it, and it was with their CD-ROM. R's, which I replied to. MCC, or Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation, is usually used by Verbatim. NOT CMC (which stands for CMC Magnetics). br>br>On the discs, there is a CMCMAG- media ID. CN2- CMC is dubious at best and useless at worst; they usually produce Memorex media, which is of the lowest quality available. CMC DVD- R's either don't finish burns or, if they do, don't read back the data that was burned to them. Memorex DVD by LightScribe R are frequently not recognized as playable by DVD players after they have been burned. Optodisc used to create all of their own DVDs. R changed to CMC after that. Half of the discs would not burn completely. br>br>Even Memorex does not use CMC for their Blu-ray discs. Ray is a medium. Ritek is the technology they employ. Even so, Ritek discs are incompatible with the PlayStation 3. Normally, Verbatim produces its own Blu-ray discs. Ray BD- R and BD- The cost of a single Verbatim BD-ROM disc is also quite high. This is something that RE should consider. BD- was created by one Verbatim. RE will set you back approximately $14. You get 10 CMCs for nearly the same price, which should give you an idea of how low-quality these discs are. br>br>The bottom line is that if I receive CMC media, it is returned to me. My verbatim CD was returned to me. R's mistakenly believing they were made by Verbatim when they were actually made by CMC. I also advise anyone who receives CMC media to do the same. Use ImgBurn and check the MID field in the right pane in Write mode if you need to figure out who made the media you have. If the string contains the letters CMC, return it! It's high-quality Verbatim made media if it says MCC, Verb, Verbatim, or something similar. br>br>As a result, single BD-ROMs are available for purchase. You can almost always count on quality Verbatim-made media if you use RE's. You can't get guaranteed Verbatim quality media by buying them in these ten disc spindles.
I'm very happy. It really works. I'm very happy.
