On my LG USB 3, the discs burned very well. 0 BDXL external writers, all with the most recent firmware. My Samsung 3D Blu-ray player from 2010 was also able to play the discs. There are no issues with Ray player. To the public. It is critical to update to the most recent revision using a firmware update utility provided by your manufacturer's website, on both their writer and their HDTV's Blu-ray player. Before you record or use the disc, you should first put it in your ray player. I had issues with the first layer being written, and then it aborted when it reached the second layer. This occurred in both the Live File System of Windows 8 File Manager and Nero 2014 Burning ROM. Both of which I put to the test. This problem was resolved after I upgraded the firmware to the most recent revision, and both layers were successfully written.
