This small device solved our problem; in less than 10 minutes, it was set up and we were watching old Christmas videos from the 1990s. Do not expect a 1080p-quality video. Because it's an old school VHS and RCA signal, you'll get that RETRO and authentic look of a VHS video in 4K quality. Overall, solid quality; I would recommend letting it float/or suspend in the air behind your television as it does get quite warm at times.

It was easy to use the converter. I can now connect my old Atari game system to a projector that only accepts hdmi signals. It's fantastic that with this converter, old technology does not have to be discarded.

This converter is excellent and accomplishes the task at hand. br>Static isn't an option. br>There will be no setbacks. Cables last a long time. br>It's simple to operate. Moreover, the image quality is excellent. br>br>I'll buy it again just to be able to connect all of my devices at the same time.

It's also possible to change the aspect ratio! I tried a few games, and they all worked fine over HDMI. I can't speak for other devices, but the games on my PS1 and PS2 worked fine. For the number 16, there's a toggle: 9 and 4: Fortunately, there isn't any unsightly stretching.

My Samsung tv's native composite jack provided a clearer picture. I'll be testing it out on my various consoles and updating my review accordingly. For consoles like the Dreamcast or Saturn, I still recommend using custom HDMI cables, but this will suffice in an emergency.

The vhs movie I used was of poor quality when I used it. I cleaned the heads on two different VCRs. The picture quality was perfect when I connected the VCR directly to a television with RCA Jack inputs. br>Clearly, this adapter degrades the picture quality significantly.
