Good day, I hope this information is useful. There aren't any RCA to HDMI or HDMI to HDMI cables available. The unit to USB port cable was about 3 feet long and was the only cable provided. To make this work, you'll need RCA connector cables, HDMI cable, and a USB power brick or electric plug.
It will lengthen the 4: 3 – 16 images:
It is not possible to convert HDMI to RCA with this converter. It can only convert RCA outputs to HDMI outputs, so if your old DVD recorder has RCA outputs and you just want to see what it's doing, this should work just like it does on my VHS/DVD combo recorder.
This converter converts RCA connectors to HDMI. It should work with your VHS player if it has RCA connectors. However, it does necessitate the use of an electrical outlet.

We recently purchased a new Sony smart TV. However, we still have a lot of old VHS tapes that we can watch on our VCR. The new TV didn't have the red-and-white-and-blue-and-white-and- Input color is white-yellow. I needed a converter, so I ordered this one after my brother suggested it. However, I was unable to make it function. The problem wasn't with the converter; it was with my nearly 80-year-old brain. After I figured out that you have to connect BOTH of the cables that came with the package - My tapes are playable through HDMI and USB. Yippeee! Although ABLEWE's tech support offered assistance, I was able to figure it out on my own after watching enough YouTube videos. The service and the product have both exceeded my expectations.
At first, the screen was completely blue, and I assumed that either the converter had failed or that my Nintendo systems had malfunctioned. I believe the converter only required 5 minutes for the N64 and about 30 minutes for the SNES to convert the image. If you don't see an image or hear audio right away, don't get discouraged. In 16 minutes, the film will be released. When compared to Nintendo's 4:3 ratio, this is a 9:1 ratio. The image does not appear to be stretched. In terms of audio, there is no lag. My only complaint is the lack of length in the USB/power cable.
I received the RVA/HDMI Converter and had it hooked up and working in less than 30 minutes. For an 86-year-old man, this is quite impressive. I'm very happy with this product because I didn't want to give up my DVD/VHS player, and the converter was THE ANSWER because our new TV didn't have RCA inputs. Thank you for providing such a high-quality item.
Classic consoles (PS, SNES, Gamecube, and so on) will love it. While playing on my PS2, I kept the resolution at 720p because 1080p was too blurry; It does cast a ghosting effect, which is to be expected, but it is noticeably reduced at 720p. br>br>The price is low, the setup is simple, and the results are reliable. This is a sure-fire winner.
RCA and component video connections (along with HDMI) were available on our old flat-screen TV. Only HDMI is available on the new TV. We were able to connect the old VHS player to the TV quickly and easily with the help of this small device! I gave the picture quality a "5", but keep in mind that the quality is determined by the VHS tape's resolution and quality. This device does not improve the resolution over that of a VHS tape - This is equivalent to a 480 resolution (as opposed to 720/1080/4K). As a result, I'm not convinced it "upgrades" - It's not much for a $12 gadget, but it does the job perfectly!.
I suppose it depends on what you want to do with it. It allowed me to connect my Wii to my HDTV using HDMI. Because the Wii doesn't recognize the higher resolution, the output over the composite video cables remains at 480i. br>br>Overall, it appears to be in good shape. It's about on par with composite video in terms of quality. When the converter is set to 720p, the colors are slightly washed out, and when the converter is set to 1080p, the colors are slightly more washed out due to motion blur. br>br>One of these days, I'll pull out the Super Nintendo and see what it's like. br>br>*Update* The vendor claims the washout is due to defective hardware, and they're replacing the converter.
I dug out my Nintendo 64 and connected it to my newfangled flat screen TV, and the picture is just as I expected it to be: very blurry. So I figured I'd give it a shot because it had a lot of positive feedback. Is it possible to use? Yes and no; I had to take photos and compare them to see what the difference was between using it and not using it. I couldn't tell the difference simply by looking at the TV. So, in my opinion, if you have to look that hard to see the difference, it's not really worth the money. I will give you a tip, though: these companies will not tell you about all of these products that you can power with a USB cable. They claim that you can get power directly from your TV using a USB cable, which is correct. However, to get the best performance out of products like these, you must plug them directly into a 110 volt outlet, specifically a cell phone charger with Rapid Charging capability. The USB ports on the back of your TV do not supply enough voltage for these products to operate at their full potential. I'll be returning it and switching to a different Nintendo 64 setup. If you want a better picture on your Nintendo 64, I recommend spending a little more money and getting a retro tink 2x Mini. I've tried all of the other less expensive options, and they're all junk. The Retro Tink 2x mini is unquestionably the best value for money.
