Yes. It's most likely to succeed. You should connect it so that your old RCA device feeds its signal to the converter, which then feeds the signal to the TV, rather than the other way around. Depending on whether you're using an old RCA-style record player or a newer model, The video resolution on the TV may be lower if you use a cabled device.
Yes and yes again.
Everything should work out.
It does have an AC power source that must be plugged in, but it can also be powered by a USB port.

I haven't had much time to play with it, but a quick check revealed that it is working. The switching feature is useful because I'm using it to connect a laserdisc player and a VCR to a new Onn TV via HDMI inputs. The unit itself is sturdy, though the buttons that toggle between inputs and aspect ratio have a cheap feel to them. The fact that you can choose between 16:9 and 16:10 aspect ratios was the main reason I bought it. 9 and 4: Some of the older films were only available in 4:3 format. 3 and most upscalers, such as the Mini, have a 16:9 aspect ratio. The image is skewed due to its 9 aspect ratio. It appears to do the job well, and the picture clarity is far superior to what I had anticipated. My only gripe is that it appears to darken the video significantly from its original hue. For my analog media, I'll be fiddling with the picture settings. Overall, if it holds up, it's a good little unit.
This is a fantastic tool. A Samsung Smart TV is connected to it. If you follow through with it. The HDMI Anyconnect (AEC) must be disabled in order for it to function. It will turn on and off on a regular basis, and this is due to the signal it sends over HDMI to turn on and off the television.
It's great; my video wouldn't play on my TV, and I'm using it as a monitor for security cameras, so it's exactly what I needed.
This is a good product because it allows you to connect two out-of-date pieces of equipment, such as a DVD player and a Wii console. This item comes highly recommended by me.
, as well as the ability to set up a number of old school systems. The button switch feature is one of my favorites because it allows you to use only one HDMI port for two systems. I don't like that it needs extra power to run, but as long as it works, I'm satisfied. So far, there hasn't been any lag or freezing.
I wish I'd known about this sooner. This is incredibly simple to set up and use. It's no problem for old sckoolers to hook it up!.
It was simple to set up and did exactly what it said it would do.
It's a little fragile, so handle it with care, but it works as advertised. Make sure your cables are plugged in far enough, as there may be sound or picture problems if they aren't. Overall, it's a great product that I'm happy to have.
