It's been a long time, and I'm not sure what I'm talking about. I found it to be the best bulb I could find, and it performed admirably.
It's impossible to say. Although the bulb was in good working order, it appeared to be of low quality. It does not appear to have a long lifespan based on its appearance and comparison to the one it replaced (which was sold and installed by a Mitsubishi repair facility).
Depending on the type of bulb you use, you should. I had previously set up a non- I had a Phillip bulb that was never bright enough for me, and it didn't last as long as it should have before going out. This time, I bought a Phillips OEM bulb, which has a great brightness and the family enjoys watching this TV set once more.

My Mitsi DLP 65" TV from 2008 was starting to show its age. The brightness had no effect on how dark the scenes were. I wish the TV had a meter on it that showed how many hours were left on the original bulb because I'm sure I'd be surprised. One thing is certain: the bulb provided excellent value for money. My kids played PS3 on this TV for about two years, accumulating a lot of hours. I've kept it as a backup, by the way. The bulb arrived in two days and was simple to install, taking no more than ten minutes. Wow is all I have to say. What a difference this made in terms of brightness and, as a result, contrast. It's as if you've bought a new TV. Over the last eight years, I've only had to replace one bulb and one DLP chip on my Mitsubishi. I am convinced that the chip malfunctioned due to a lack of thermal paste on the chip, which caused heat to build up. However, given that it lasted about 6 years, I can't really complain. Time will tell how long this one lasts, but I have no complaints so far and would recommend both the bulb and the seller.
In less than a year, this is the third lamp I've needed to replace. These new replacement lamps do not appear to be manufactured in the same way as the original lamp. The original lamp's glass is thicker and resembles a magnifying glass. On the original lamp, the filament is thicker. The clear glass on replacement lamps is very thin. On the replacement lamp, the filament appears to be quite thin. br>While the original lamp lasted 12 years, replacement lamps only lasted about a month. One of them lasted for a full day and a half.
It was purchased on October 1, 2015, and today is May 28, 2016. The original bulb that came with our Mitsubishi DLP in 2007 lasted for about 5 years before blowing out in 2012. The picture has been getting darker and darker for the last few months, indicating that this bulb is failing. I'll have to turn up the brightness like I did on the previous one until it breaks. At the very least, the OEM bulbs should last for a couple of years. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> The bulb is still on as of September 12, 2016, but the picture has become even darker, so I'm turning up the brightness on the television. Before the holidays, I think I'll need a new bulb.
This bulb not only looks fantastic and gives our TV a new lease on life, but it has also outlasted the off-brand bulb I ordered before it. br>br>DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND BUY THIS BULB WITH THE EXTRA MONEY! I understand that other bulbs cost 75 to 100 dollars less, but you get what you pay for here. I had a bulb that lasted half an hour and another that lasted a month. The bulb has lasted three months so far, and our television has never looked better. br>br>Until I switched to this bulb, I had no idea how bad my old factory bulb was. Over the last year or so, my TV had become noticeably darker, and even with the brightness turned all the way up, some scenes were difficult to discern. I blamed it on projection televisions' horibble blacks, but I was wrong. I can now see everything, and my brightness isn't at its maximum. br>br>Excellent product, quick delivery with Amazon Prime, and I'll let you know about customer service if it's ever needed, which hopefully won't be for a long time! Purchase this bulb as soon as possible! You'll be glad you took the time to do so.
Very bright (brightness can be reduced and it remains sufficiently bright even in bright environments, extending bulb life). I knew my TV was getting dimmer over time, but when you install this bad boy and turn it on for the first time, it hits you like a ton of bricks. Recesitated it big time. Very happy with it. Now I'll see how long it lasts, as this is my first bulb swap (I watch TV frequently but don't turn it up to maximum power, brightness, or other settings). If it dies on me or loses a significant amount of brightness in the near future (which I expect), 3 years or I won't be happy (original bulb lasted well over a decade), so I'll take a star off my 5-star rating). However, based on recent performance, 5s are well deserved!.
So far, everything has gone well. The bulb arrived in excellent condition. It also had serial numbers to prove that it was genuine. It was a breeze to put it in. And the image is just as stunning as it was when I first bought it. The only flaw I found was that the screen was not located on the top of the casing, but I believe this was due to a manufacturing error. The old one, on the other hand, didn't really stop the dust, so I don't think it's a major issue. The photos don't do it justice, but it's extremely bright, which made me squint a little because I wasn't used to it. I am ecstatic.
I bought it on December 1st and had to use my warranty by December 30th. Then, in February, my indicator light began to blink, turning off my television; sure enough, that bulb had burned out as well within a few weeks. They claimed to have a warranty, but that it only covered one replacement. I decided to spend the money on a good light bulb after being thoroughly disappointed and frustrated, and I'm so glad I did. You can notice a difference in the brightness of the light bulb as soon as you turn on the television. It's been a little more than a month, and the bulb is still shining brightly! Never again will I purchase low-cost bulbs!.
"bargains" is impossible to beat. So far, everything seems to be going swimmingly. Our fantastic Mitsubishi DLP TV's original bulb lasted well over 6 years. Years later, the project was abandoned. We replaced it with one that was reasonably priced and received positive feedback, as well as a three-year warranty. Guaranteed for a month, but it was only good for about two months. (I requested a replacement, which is still being processed). Meanwhile, I purchased this bulb, which is more expensive but is "OEM" (Original Equipment Manufacturer), implying that it is equivalent to the one that came with the set. It arrived on time and in perfect condition; it functions; now we'll see how long it lasts, but we're optimistic. It's guaranteed for a year (4 times longer than the previous replacement), implying a higher level of satisfaction!.
