The answer is yes.
In fact, I helped my brother set it up and use it I am happy with how it went.
Your satellite receiver (no matter which provider you use) and your satellite dish are connected by this device. If you have a satellite for your given system, you'll be able to aim the dish with the finder needle. The video connected to the device needs to be watched by another person to determine when the satellite is pointed at the proper spot when it is not in use.
The coax cable is included in the package.

My satellite had been aiming at the wrong azimuth for days, but I had not been able to get it to precioely point at the exact direction listed on my DirecTV receiver until I bought this bad boy. This tool lets you see the satellites' signal strength in real time, so you can pinpoint their location. a passenger on a ship that changes locations quite frequently, and my dish must be adjusted based on where we are currently. On our ship we do have compasses, but it is hard to pick up an HD signal if every transponder does not come in with above 80% signal strength, which cannot be done without a real-time feedback device such as this. Glad to hear that.
While camping out and roughing it, I purchased this product for use with my RV and Direct TV so that I can maintain connectivity with our satellite TV. As a result of this item, you can predict the signal strength in advance when aiming the dish and locking onto the I was able to setup connectivity for the item better since it arrived faster than expected and gave me more time to figure out how to use it with the DVR receiver. As a plus, the product was easy to use as the signal strength began to register immediately. It was easy to use this device and set it up in a matter of seconds. As far as I know, I have not used any other products, and I have only relied on reviews and recommendations from others and this product. It has worked so far without fail, and no discrepancies have been reported.
In this case, we replaced a product of the same model that had been in use for 10 years. During the two months we had no opportunity to utility, we were unable to get a quote. As soon as we attempted to use it, we discovered that it would not work.
Because I lost my $8 Satellite Finder Meter, I decided to buy the Winegard SF-90. There are several cheaper options available, but the 1000 Satellite Finder Meter is the best. Considering the quality of Winegard, I was expecting a better product. There was a loose cable connector in the package, so I tightened the jam nut to Despite my satellite box powering it up, it wouldn't work. When I removed the back cover, a very very small piece of solder was broken connecting the connector to the board. THROW IT AWAY!.
This piece of equipment has been invaluable to me as I travel across the country in an RV, aiming my satellite dish. There is a learning curve to get used to the way it behaves. It is very important to hear the audio sound when you are zeroing in on a satellite. Without this you will have to keep an eye on your TV while aiming the dish. You will need at least 25 feet between your RV and the next one in many RV parks. As an alternative to monitoring the TV screen, this device enables aiming without being visually distracted. The iPad app also allows me to determine the best spot for the dish so that I will have an unobstructed view of the satellite. The two together provide a very effective method of clearing the dish of satellite debris.
He has a very strong sound and is easier to find the best balance of quality and intensity because of his very strong sound.
It worked for me but I would recommend it for a veteran user, not for a first time buyer.
I was able to resolve my problem by using this troubleshooting. It was in like new condition despite being in an old box.
