Deflection of 2 dB in the 950 MHz to 2150 MHz band
The voltage range is between 13 to 18 VDC
A dB level control on the LNB to REC connector
You need a 5 dB attenuator when LNB/LNB exceeds 60 dB

Questions & Answers

Is there a reason why my finder pings all the time to the maximum? There is no need to move the dish or find a satellite for this. ?

It is possible that the cable lines have an unpredictable voltage. A voltmeter should be used to measure the voltage between the center conductor and shielded or outer portions Measuring AC first, and then DC after that. It is possible that a piece of equipment like a receiver, DVD player, or a TV may have leakage current when AC is detected on the cable going toward the house. Is that the case, then You need to unplug each one one by one until the voltage has disappeared.

Buying one Satellite Finder was the best decision I ever made. This needs to be DC13-compliant A power supply that operates at 18 volts. Are you going to need a power supply for this one? I appreciate it. ?

There must be a power supply for it

There is a HughesNet satellite dish that needs to be re-mounted As a result of the cross-pointing It looks like the pol is quite low (*39.) Does this help me with my cross-fixing Does it have anything to do with politics?

My guess is that I do not know! There's no way for me to understand what a cross-section is Politics is a matter of importance. With this meter, you can read the strength of a signal and get as close to the satellite as possible by adjusting its sensitivity. Unfortunately, it doesn't indicate which satellite you are trying to find. To maximize the effectiveness of the dish, it should be pointed in the direction indicated in the parameters (i.e. You need the azimuth, elevation, etc.) once you have that generally established, so that the meter can nicely peak it in. As you adjust the sensitivity knob, the volume will adjust accordingly.

Do you think it'll work for Galaxy ?

We decided to purchase a more expensive digital one in addition to the one that works on any satellite

This is (not quite) useless
3/5

I have updated This meter took some time to figure out how to use, but I managed to do In order to use it, you attach it to your receiver and link to your local broadcast until the meter starts squeezing. Until the knob reaches 5 or a few more clicks, adjust the knob so that it reads 5. Your antenna should then be pointed at the reading until it It shouldn't be too far from where you are now.

It's really important to have the skew angle of the antenna selected prior to the antenna mounting (assuming multiple LNBs) and have the pole closest to vertical where the antenna will be mounted. It came in handy when I was traveling with my RV and wanted to align my Dish system in the field. It could never be found online as a satillite. Two birds ended up being the one to give me a good signal and I had to run in and out of the camper to get it. I hooked the meter back in and it did not work, even after my dish was aligned and I received This is the third of these cheapo meters that I have tried. Going forward, I will bring my receiver with a 5 inch HDMI monitor and an extension cord. As soon as the dish is pointed at the receiver, I'll turn it on. As I browse some reviews for some of the "higher end" satilite finders ($100 and up), nearly all of them have instructions that read "Does not work in North America".

I highly recommend this product
5/5

It works great and is very easy to use. I like this meter a lot. Due to the fact that I had never used a meter before, I didn't know what to do. It is not clear what the instructions are supposed to do. The texts look like a direct translation from Mandarin to English, but I cannot tell who wrote them. For installing a Dish 1000, I found a great video on You Tube. There are two cases in which one of these meters is being used by the installer. As soon as I watched the video, this call made sense. My Dish receiver tipped me off about the dish outside, so I went inside and checked it. On satellite 119, it gave a signal strength reading of 90%, and then on satellite 67, it gave a reading of 60% On satellites 110 and 129, 70% of the signals are received. Often wise people are quoted as saying Rather than fix it if it ain't broke, leave it alone. There was nothing to do with it.

The exact thing I was looking for
5/5

Dish Network sent a technician to handle converting my two dish system to a one dish system a couple of years ago. A second dish pole was used to mount the dish, and that pole was located just beside The plant has grown so much in the last two years that it has begun to shadow the dish, and I have started getting rain fade when it is sprinkled. In order to do that, I decide to mount the dish on the house's side. I got the job done, but it wasn't good and there was still a lot of water leaking. We prefer to pay $15 rather than There is a $600 fee for having a technician re-do the job After deciding to buy a meter rather than aim my dish myself (and possibly get charged the full fee) I decided to buy it. After receiving the meter today, I was able to align the dish once more and have it working properly again (both azimuth and elevation were messed up). Meter's tone is loud enough to hear outside the house from some distance, and should not be difficult to use. The DIYers I know would be very happy with this product.

The design isn't fancy, but it We've got a solution here
3/5

Don't forget to be careful when connecting. A little too much bounce is evident on the needle, and there is no easy way to attach the device to something as you use it. The dish must be moved with two hands, and the unit needs to be held with one hand. In order for me to attach it to my pole, I would like to use Velcro backing to adhere it to the pole when I use it. It may be less bouncing if I mount it at eye sight I can then monitor it easily.

It makes a great combination when combined with a navigation app for the phone
4/5

When it is in place, the TV will work. You can do this but the sound will drive you, and any neighbors at a park, nuts. A couple of pieces of tape will help. The satellite was found, but it did not mention which satellite it was. It makes a great combination when combined with a navigation app for the phone. As long as your finder volume is turned down on your TV, you will be able to watch with it in place. The price of these parts in RV shops is double or triple that.

Suitable for both on and I don't have any details to provide
3/5

The opposite of what I had hoped for. There would be a satellite found, but you would not be able to tell which, or align two at the same time. The signal confirmation confirmed that I have a signal, but my issue is In this case, 5 is good, and 72 is a little out of place.

The meter must be connected to the receiver to receive power. 0 to 100% is represented by a scaling. In between is never a good idea. The tablet does show whether there is a signal or not. Therefore, I am inclined to give it 2 stars.

The distance between us is close but insufficient
3/5

The signal must be right on your side for it to work. It was possible to do that with a TV, so no need to buy one. Nevertheless, it could work if one were close enough to a.

I've given it a new lease of life! The bolts and nuts were removed from my dish by someone who enjoyed it
4/5

With the LNB down, I found it quite difficult to aim while listening to the droning tone of the receiver with my arm bent. I was able to adjust much easier thanks to this. Go to the satellite pointing menu on Dish and select "Location" Here is the menu for your convenience The following six items relate to the present Numbers 1 and 2 You can choose 110 as the first number. Your dish should be aimed at the best possible angle. If you have HD, and hopefully you do, then select 129 (if you have it), and adjust the skew (4 nuts, and rotate as a steering wheel) until you get a The 110 shouldn't change at all if the arm isn't bent all the way to hell (like mine). You'll enjoy it.
