You can now download firmware updates directly to the meter using its built-in Wi-Fi network You should not need to update the firmware when you receive the meter since it comes with the latest version.

According to the description, the device is compatible with high-resolution displays Does that mean we do not need to use an attenuator or a tap to test directly from the module when testing directly from the module?

If I want to use the meter, I have to register it with the installer identification number Is it possible to register without an installer id and still use the meter without having to submit a registration form?

It is not necessary to register the meter with an installer in order to use it. My roles as a user and an installer are very different and I use it for every day assistance.

Are there any satellites other than DirectTV that it can find?

I am sorry, but no. It was designed specifically for DirecTV systems, it is capable of a lot more than just helping you locate DirecTV satellite signals, but it is limited to systems with DirecTV satellites. Applied Instruments XR-47 is a better choice if you need one that will perform more tasks

The support was great, but the battery was awful

The meter I use for my work needs to be upgraded. DirecTV's AIM is the new version and is supposed to be the better one. There is no way to tell since the battery that came with it could never be charged beyond We were very good at Solid Signal. We took back the product and gave me a full refund. It is great that these meters are so accurate, but the batteries aren't that great- It is difficult to find them and they are very expensive.

The meter is being upgraded

As described in the instructions, I have been unable to upgrade the meter. After talking with a technician, he informed me he did not know anything about the AIM Q2. The scale is from 0 to 1 meter During that time, the line went dead. Holding the line for about 10 minutes did not work. It took me four attempts to reach a tech and they say they will get back to me but have yet to do so. The seller is very good. How would you rate her?.

This is a good on the day it was supposed to arrive

It needs to be signed for, but you can do it at the store. I used it for satellite dish aiming and it worked well, thanks to easy instructions on the screen.
