Questions & Answers

There are many more degrees of slope on my roof I would say 35 degrees at most. Are there any dangers involved with this? Could it possibly land on my head if the object were to fall off the roof?

Designed for flat roofs, this unit has nothing to do with sloped roofs. Pitch roofs are not the only roofs that can be covered by other solutions.

In his opinion, a rubber pad should be placed under the roof. Are you worried that this will melt into the ?

That is not the case. It would be best if you put a rubber pad under it, as rubber behaves more like a tire.

Are you able to use Starlink with this program?

As of yet, I haven't used or installed Starlink, but it should be possible to install the pole with a diameter of 1 1/2 " or 2 "

The mast that this mount comes with comes with a thin pipe. Can I replace it with a thicker one?

In short, yes. With the side support rods, there is some play. As soon as I first tried to install them, I discovered that I had done it incorrectly. A new mast will come in between 4 and 6 inches tall After 5" you will be able to walk normally. You can mount this on your vehicle.

The service worked well for what I was looking for
5/5

Instead of mounting on a roof, this was mounted on the ground for mounting a 26' vertical HAM antenna. From 10 to The frame is built with 32# concrete blocks, so it is completely stable and the antenna can be managed without any problems. My antenna site is 18" under a rock base, eliminating the option of burying a standard support post, so this surface mount was the best option. A solid concrete block that is 4 x 8 x 16 does not fit perfectly on the mount due to its square design. A flat surface will hold 8 and a curved surface will hold two. They could have filled 8 if they had made the base 4 inches shorter. If it's on the ground for several years, it won't last forever, but it should be fine.

This is a great product
5/5

My metal standing seam roof has a 10 degree slope. The stand was installed on some 2x6s, and four cement blocks were added on top. With the 8 ft mast mounted and a fairly large antenna (60 miles range), I mounted a device. I have only seen a little movement/budget since this installation. We've had a few wind storms, but everything is holding up like it did on the day it was installed.

I think this is a great solution to provide a movable antenna mount for OTA
5/5

On a flat roof, this mounting system provides a good option to provide a movable antenna mount for receiving OTA TV and radio signals. Ensure that the base is adequately ballasted with good consideration for the mass and height of the antenna itself. The wind loads at the top are magnified by the lever arm, so this must be taken into consideration. You should also ensure that the maximum load tolerable per square meter is well above the weight of the ballast and the additional mount that The roof of your roofing should be flat or nearly flat before mounting this mount. A safety precaution should be taken in case of earthquakes. Use an antenna mount with a movable base so that it can be moved? Well, for one thing, if you have a low slope roof, you're better off avoiding The mast needs at least five penetrations if you mount it in a conventional manner and use guy wires in order to retain it There are two holes (min) on each side of the center base for the center base and three for the guy wires, equally spaced. In many cases, however, roof geometries may be inaccessible to good antenna reception, and even then it may be difficult to mount the antenna. Finally, though the antenna mount is moveable, it is not intended to be portable. As long as the propagation path does not face new obstacles due to roof repairs or other factors, the position should be maintained.

I Was in for more trouble than I was worth! In any case, it takes more effort and time to remove the nuts because they do not allow a good fit
3/5

With the welded nuts it does accept 1 3/4" or 2" pipe.
I sent the company letters twice and I went to HD. Where can I insert a pipe if I've no luck finding one?.

The program works well
5/5

The cinder block boxes are nice and big and hold eight of them. During some rough weather, they've kept my Directv dishes in place. I like it a lot. They have been in my possession approximately two years and a half.

I was able to install it on the roof once I figured out how to get there
4/5

I found it difficult to get the mast plumb and level by myself, but aside from that, it has been perfect.

Thank you
5/5

I'm very happy. The antenna holder is very stable and economical, that certainly is a plus here in Arizona since the wind blows quite hard. Thanks to you, we have a very sturdy stand here in Arizona, thank you again.
