I bought two rubber unions to connect the hose clamps to the rubber union.

I've taken out the spring buttons and secured it with a nut and bolt, so if it starts to slip, I'll swap it out. I hung it on the eve of my shop because it was the perfect length. I might add an arm or wire to hold it if it shows signs of moving, depending on how it behaves.

It can be adjusted in a variety of ways.

This pipe is incredibly strong and light for a pipe of this size (39"), and it is of exceptional quality. If you fall or the mount slides on you, you can use the six holes drilled into it for added security. If the mount moves on you, you can use the extra holes. The instructions also state that this mount is not suitable for boom lengths exceeding 40 inches.

Installing the pipe requires removing the vertical pipe from the bracket because the holes are not accessible when the pipe is in place. Three bolts are used in this application: Two carriage bolts are used to adjust the vertical adjustment, and one cross bolt is used to secure the uprights.

This is one of the 3000's features. It's a good idea to mount a weather station in this manner.
