There is no indication how many it is able to The cassettes cave in if they are not full, since there are no compartments. If you wish to save cassettes you rarely listen to but still want to keep, then this is the method for you. If you only need the cassettes for storage, and not to pull them out on a regular basis, then the price is hard to beat.

They are quite well-made and I bought quite a few Organize cassette tapes for my audio collection with cassette cassette cabinets. The cassettes each have a zipper to close them and keep them protected while I keep them neatly stored With a convenient handle on each organizer, this organizer is very compact and easy to move. The investment is well worth it.
If this carrier is not full, the tapes fall all over the place and it collapses on itself. So it has no bottom or dividers, so if it's not full, the tapes just fall all over the place. I only bought it to store old tapes, so it's ideal for what I'm doing. If I carried it regularly, it would break very quickly. But I am only using it as a tape organizer, so it will last for quite a while.
It is overpriced.
The junk was put in a drawer accidentally, I forgot I had them otherwise I would have returned them.
