There is a terrible color match to Legrand/On Q white in these plates. I bought two sets for speaker connections in our new home and they didn't match at all. There are many speaker plates that have RCA connections for the subwoofer, and for my application (in wall subwoofer), they aren't suitable. I found these to be perfect for my purposes. I have only one complaint about them, and it is their white is a terrible match with the Legrand/On Q white. In the basement, they won't be noticed, since a plate like this is in an unfinished area, but they stand out badly in our great room. I will therefore have to remove the existing set in the great room and use individual keystones from Legrand to match the original. In an equal and opposite way, we are using Cable Matters Cat 6 keystones, and they perfectly match the Legrand keystone straps and wall plates as seen in the first photo.

My only regret is that it doesn't have the choice of jumbo outlets since you'll likely have to cut through finished drywall to install it. As for the type of cable, I used romex since it was thick enough of a gauge (14 or 12) and stiff enough to run You must be careful with using Romex if you decide to do so. *Ensure that the ground is cut back so you aren't able to make contact by accident and cause a short.

If it could be tailored to work with romex cable or stranded cable, it would be a perfect five. Additionally, romex is notorious for breaking easily if you over tighten.
