Is HDR10 and HDR10 supported by this switch?

RESPONSE OF THE MANUFACTURER: Yes. HDMI 2 is supported by the Kinivo HDMI switch. HDR10 and HDR10 will be supported by this device.

Is there a way to let the atmosphere in?

"hdmi 2" is mentioned in another answer. It's actually hdmi 2 that's required, not 2". 2 hasn't even been released yet. Sony and Apple products do not get along
4/5

The owner's manual specifically states this. To begin with, I adore the switch's appearance and feel. I also like the fact that it can render true 4K at 60 frames per second. br>br>Based on the reviews and specifications, I purchased two of these animals. This, combined with the scarcity of the item, makes it difficult to obtain. Because I have two, I was able to perform some basic testing to ensure that the issues I was having were not caused by faulty hardware. What I found out is as follows. br>br>MAKE SURE EVERYTHING IS POWERED OFF AND DISCONNECTED BEFORE YOU START SETTING UP YOUR COMPONENTS! br>br>When I say "everything," I really mean it. The switch, the components, and the television. Everything. It may not be practical, but disconnecting the power from everything before connecting any HDMI cables is a good idea. The only two items connected to a SONY 40" curved 4k monitor are an Xbox One X and a Sony PS4 as shown in the photos. I thought the consoles would be fine in "Power Rest" mode at first. After plugging in my HDMI cables, I powered up Switch ONE and turned on the Xbox. WOOHOO! Now it's time to turn on the PS4! That's when things started to get strange. br>br>Switch ONE kept flashing intermittently, indicating that it was trying to switch to Input2 (Playstation) and kill the vid/aud feed from Input1 (Xbox). It would hang, then try to return to the Xbox, which would work for a few seconds before repeating the annoying habit of attempting to return to the PS (which was in Power Rest mode). I disconnected the PS (just pulled the HDMI cable out of the Input2 port) and the Xbox worked fine. Every time I plugged the PS back into Switch ONE (regardless of which input port), the same behavior would manifest: flash off of Xbox, try to go to PS, go BACK to Xbox. Repeat the process of washing and rinsing. br>br>I was able to get Switch ONE to work by turning off EVERY component (I did some other tests with an Apple TV that I won't go into here) and disconnecting the switch power as well as the console power cables. I connected all of my HDMI cables and then turned on only the switch. Then I plugged in and turned on the Xbox, which worked fine, and then I plugged in and turned on the PS, which worked fine as well. It continued to flash. I know. I was hoping that would solve the problem as well. br>br>For this switch, I had to hold the SWITCH button down for about 8 seconds, as per the manufacturer's instructions. to disable the Auto-Shutdown feature Changing the mode With that done, you can see that Input 1 is blue and Input 2 is red, and I have stability even when both consoles are turned on, regardless of their 'power state. ' br>br>Did I say I ran some tests with two switches? After confirming that the behavior was the same on both switches (at first), I tried simply turning everything off and plugging everything into Switch TWO. Switch two was turned on, Xbox was turned on, and finally PlayStation was turned on. Switch TWO, strangely enough, was able to solve the problem and did not engage in the 'flashing' behavior. I didn't have to keep the SWITCH button pressed for more than 8 seconds. on the 2nd toggle Both switches will not Auto Sense and switch. br>br> If you have any Apple or Sony products connected to this switch, I believe that is the best you can hope for. You have no choice but to use the remote control. Which isn't so bad; as you can see in photo 4, I keep mine right on top of the Xbox, and when I'm ready to pwn the PS, I simply pick up the remote and press the Input2 button. BOOP! Even if both consoles are turned on, it seamlessly switches between them, with no glitches, flashing, or drama for mama. br>br>I hope this information is useful to anyone who is having trouble getting this switch to work for the first time! I was able to connect both SONY, Xbox, PC, and Apple products and get them to work. On the other hand, there isn't much affection for the automobile. Changing the front. As a result, it only receives four out of five stars. I'd give it a rating of 4 out of 5 stars. If I had to give it a score, I'd give it a nine because the photo quality is fantastic!!.

It didn't accomplish what I had hoped for when I purchased it
3/5

For the past month, I've been using the product. I purchased this because my television only has one HDMI port, and I have multiple devices that require HDMI connections, all of which I use frequently. br>br>I had intended to use the HDMI Switch with the following devices: A PS4, an AppleTV 4k, and a TV-based gaming system Provider of cable boxes If I'm watching TV on an Apple TV or a Channel Box and decide to switch to the PS4, the image will last a few minutes before going black while the game continues to play. This has happened to me a few times now, to the point where I've decided to remove the PS4 connection from the HDMI Switch and manually change the HDMI cables in the TV whenever I want to use the PS4 (this is where the HDMI Switch originally lost its purpose). Since then, I've had no issues with the Apple TV and Channel Box being connected to the same Switch, and the PS4 being connected to its own HDMI cable. br>br>I'm not sure if this Switch is incapable of handling a game console (as it should be) or if it's broken. All I know is that it is not delivering the results I had hoped for. br>br>*********IF IT IS FIXED OR A SOLUTION IS FOUND, I WILL CHANGE/UPDATE THIS REVIEW************.

The first Input was the only one that worked
3/5

As a result, the goal is defeated. This was purchased for a family member, and they used it with their PS4 Pro and Xbox One S gaming systems. The Xbox One and PS4 Pro did not work together when it was set up. The PS4 Pro, which was connected to input 1, worked fine, but the blue light for the Xbox One S's input, which was connected to input 2, would blink off and the light for Input 1 would blink red at the same time. When this happens, the screen goes black until the input 2 blue light comes back on. We tried disconnecting everything, including the included power supply, and reconnecting each component one at a time after turning the device back on. We also tried about ten more things, none of which were successful. Apart from the obvious issues I've had with it, it appears to be poorly constructed. It's small, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it's made of extremely cheap plastic that doesn't appear to be very long-lasting. Even though it is small, it requires a lot of space because the output (to TV) and input 5 ports are on the right and left sides of the device, respectively, which means you'll need enough room on either side for the length of the HDMI cable, making cord management difficult and the area around it unsightly. Furthermore, removing the sticky plastic on top, similar to that found on the front of cell phones when they are first received, left sticky streaks all over the visible top of the device, making it even more unsightly. Even so, if it just worked the way it was supposed to, we could handle all of these other issues.

It works! I've used Kinivo HDMI switchers in the past, and I still do, but since moving into the 4K world, I've decided I need an HDMI switcher that is fully 4K capable
5/5

I decided to give the Kinivo a shot because I've had good luck with their products in the past, and the switch has performed admirably so far after only three days of installation. It hasn't crashed yet, and it currently supports four devices: Roku Ultra, Amazon Fire TV 4K Stick, and a TiVo Mini VOX; Apple TV 4K, Roku Ultra, Amazon Fire TV 4K Stick, and a TiVo Mini VOX; All of these are connected to a switch, then fed into an OPPO 203 UHD disc player, which is then connected to a Denon AVR-2000. Finally, a Sony A9F OLED display replaces the X4500H. I've integrated the Kinivo switch into my Harmony 950(w/Hub) setup and it's been great so far, that is, it's been completely transparent, which is exactly what you'd want. I strongly advise you to use the Kinivo 550BN 4K HDMI switch for your 4K switching needs!.
