I'd like to be able to disable automatic switching as well. By default, it selects my Nvidia shield television, rather than the most recent one. It's a little irritating. Then I have to wait at least 10 seconds before switching, or it will revert to the shield. If I wait 10 seconds, I'll be able to switch without any problems.
Version 2 of our work 3440x1440 is supported by the 0 5x1 switch 21. 9 resolutions are supported, and the display device should be capable of 4K60HZ!
Yes, it works with HDR on the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X!
HDMI uses a digital signal, so unlike analog cables in the past, it either works or doesn't, but the picture quality can't be compromised; no switch will have an effect.

Because I have an Apple TV 4K, an Xbox One X, and a PS4 Pro, I have three devices that require 4K HDR support, but only two HDMI ports are available to do so. Crap. br>br>In comes this device, which enabled me to connect the Xbox One X and PS4 Pro to the switch and then to one of my TV's enhanced HDMI ports. So now I'm getting a 4K HDR 60hz signal from BOTH the Xbox One X and the PS4 Pro, and there appears to be no image quality loss! FINALLY! When I turn on the Xbox One X to watch a 4K Blu Ray, the device automatically switches from the PS4 Pro to the Xbox One X. The same goes for the other direction. Another reviewer stated that you "forget that it's there," and he is 100% correct. Finally, I purchased three 4K HDR compatible switches from Amazon, but only this one is compatible with the Playstation 4 Pro. The others work fine, but when you switch to the PS4 Pro, the image keeps cutting in and out, regardless of what video settings I turn on and off on the Playstation. I'm not sure why this one works while the others don't, but I'm glad I figured it out.
Other switches I've seen are either too small for my requirements or appear and feel extremely cheap. Design: br>br> br>To be honest, this is a plain-looking switch. Green lights indicate active input on the black and brown exterior. The fact that this thing is completely metal on the inside and out is the real show-stopper here. It's not a flimsy piece of plastic. Additionally, all of the plugs are located on the device's back, which is very convenient. br>br>Functionality: This device performs admirably and is remarkably simple to set up. If you have a Logitech Harmony remote, you can use it to sync with this device. The only feature I don't care for is the automatic switching, which you can disable by not using the power cord. The power button is an interesting feature that you don't see on many switches. You can turn off the device entirely if you want, but the remote is still fully functional and powerful. After I lost my original, the company sent me one, which was extremely helpful; however, my original died on me a few weeks ago. Awakelion, on the other hand, immediately dispatched a replacement. I don't blame the device because I believe a bad HDMI cable was to blame. br>br>All the connections are USB 2. 0 as promised, and DHCP version 2 is supported. 2 This eliminates the possibility of a device refusing to cooperate. I've bought a lot of switches over the years, but this is the one I'm going to use from now on. Thank you so much, Awakelion!.
I've had this HDMI Switch for a few months and I really like it. The auto-pilot feature is one of my favorites. a feature for sourcing There hasn't been any input lag, audio lag, or image quality degradation that I've noticed. I've never had an issue using it to switch (pun intended) between my Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS3, and Wii U. As far as I've seen, this is a high-quality product! Furthermore, longevity is critical. br>br> This was purchased in November 2017 and the first part of this review (above) was published in February 2018. It's now June 2018, and the unit is still going strong after a solid 6-month run. 7 months. So many of these devices get bad reviews because they don't last very long. In my personal experience, this thing is still alive and well, which is important to note because you want your $50 investment to last as long as possible. In the grand scheme of things, seven months isn't very long. However, some devices, such as these, are only good for three months, according to some users. I've been using mine on a regular basis for the past seven months and have had no problems. It's still the same high-quality, dependable product that it was when I first reviewed it. My only problem is that I'm in desperate need of a replacement! There are too many gadgets in this house. I bought a second 5x1 Awakelion HDMI switch for my setup in June 2018. In my current setup, I have eight HDMI devices, so one 5x1 wasn't enough. Both of them are in use at the moment - The first is connected to HDMI1 on my TV, and the second is connected to HDMI2 because my TV only has two HDMI ports. For several months, the second has worked just as well as the first. And, rather than requiring two remote controls, both can be controlled with just one - Each unit gets its own. This product comes highly recommended by me - It should be obvious that buying two of them is a good idea! br>br>In July of this year, I bought two of these - In 2017, one was released, and in 2018, another was released. Now that we're well into 2019, both are still part of my setup and running smoothly. Since then, I've added more HDMI devices, and I'm using almost all of the 10 ports between the two switches, and everything is working fine. I don't use my Switch for 4K passthrough. I bypass the switch and go straight into my 4K TV from my Xbox One X for 4K quality, so I can't say whether 4K is good through the switch or not, though other reviews say it is. As for build quality and longevity, the $100 I paid for the two switches was well spent, and I can't recommend this product enough. It's been almost two years since I bought my first one, and it's still going strong.
My PS4 worked well with my Directv 4K mini, but it didn't work with everything. My system is connected to the television via a 50-foot HDMI cable. I had to install a signal booster because using my PS4 causes my TV to turn off every 10 minutes like clockwork. I tried turning off every setting I could find that had anything to do with the video to see what would work. On my end, I've had no luck. If I bypass the splitter, everything works fine; then I remember that I had my old splitter hooked up, and the problem was solved; however, the old splitter isn't 4K, so I had to order a new 4K splitter. br>br>(update 1/24/2019)br> I'm still having the same issue that I had before. A Vizio E65-HDTV is part of my setup. Directv genie mini 4K, Apple TV non-4K, and PS4 are all supported by the F1 4K HDR smart TV, which comes with a 50-foot HDMI cable and HDMI signal booster. I've noticed that if I disconnect the hdmi switch, the problem goes away, but when I reconnect it, the problem reappears. I'm convinced I've got a faulty unit that needs to be replaced. I attempted to order a different brand of 4K switch, but that did not work. I no longer have those issues when I remove the 4K switch, and they do not occur when I use a non-4K switch. So it's not the 5o ft hdmi and hdmi repeater, because I can get 4k without any interruptions if I bypass this switch.
