ARC HDMI Adapter (Audio Return Channel) The HDMI ARC audio adapter can extract HDTV or projection audio that supports ARC and convert it to the audio format you require for transmission. (Note that your HDMI device (TV or projection, for example) should support the ARC function, and you will need a 19+1 HDMI cable if you plan to use the HDMI ARC channel for audio communication.
Simultaneous Audio Output This HDMI ARC Adapter is able to output audio from a TV (with ARC capability) to an optical, coaxial, or three-wire output system simultaneously. LPCM/5mm/L/R audio is presented through an ARC Adapter through a HDMI/ARC interface and is output The Audio Output should be set to PCM or LPCM before using, as it is incompatible with Dolby AC3/ Dolby Digital Plus and so on.)
The HDMI-ARC output is paired with optimal optical toslink (SPDIF) stereo analog outputs (RCA) and HDMI-ARC output to optical toslink. A 5mm audio output is available. Questions & Answers

Can I control the volume of this unit using the remote control of the firestick after it is connected?

There is no difference between your remote control and Connecting the device to external speakers with volume control and amplifier allows me to play music. Both the fiber optic and HDMI adapter are compatible with the audio adapter.

How does this extract audio from a device plugged into the hdmi output of the source equipment in relation to HDMI capability?

It is necessary to extract audio from the HDMI port that supports the ARC function to the fiber/coaxial/RL channel/3 through the HDMI arc extractor. In order to output sound via the 5 jack, you will need to confirm if the HDMI port has ARC function to output to the corresponding receiving device.
If it does not have ARC function, please refer to the following ASIN. Our HDMI receivers can extract audio from the HDMI port. I found it to be effective

With this, I was able to control the volume of a Sonos Playbar with the Bluetooth remote from my TV. In Sonos Playbar, there is only one input an optical cable connected to the optical toslink output. Using an IR TV remote control, the Playbar can be controlled. If the TV only has Bluetooth, it will not be possible to control the Playbar volume remotely through the TV. (The toslink output signal is controlled by the TV remote control). I wanted to connect my TV's HDMI ARC port to the Sonos Playbar, and I used this adapter. To connect the Sonos Playbar to the TV's ARC port, run an HDMI cable (that supports ARC) from the TV's ARC port to the adapter input, and then use a toslink optical cable from the adapter output. Worked like a charm! ARC volume can be controlled by TV remote. When the remote is fed through an adapter, an optical audio signal is created with a different volume level than those received by Volumne works via the TV remote control, Mute works via the TV remote control. It would be possible to do something similar with an adapter that converts the TV's stereo output (L/R RCA cables or headphone jack) to toslink, which would also allow volume control from the TV remote. If that were to be the case, audio could only be stereo. The 5 is missing, as is Dolby, surround sound, and 5K. In a similar way, you could also use an adapter to convert the Bluetooth audio output on the TV There should be support for Dolby Digital, surround sound, and There is one major problem with Bluetooth, however it does not always reconnect correctly, and similar Bluetooth adapters are usually more expensive. ARC to Toslink adapters are perfect for making soundbars not capable of having their volume controlled from a TV remote. Just make sure the adapter supports the audio formats the soundbar supports. This adapter supports the formats used by the Sonos Playbar.

This is an excellent book
5/5

I found this after a bit of research and I am glad I did. In order to hook up my whole home analog wired sound system to my new QLED "The Frame", I needed a way to connect the TV to the wired sound system. This small adapter consists of two split analog speaker cables and an optical cable that connects to two male split speaker cables. I've also tried it with a HDMIe cable, but the sound system didn't seem to work with it. I did not encounter any problems with the Optical Eye cable. Due to an error in ordering two boxes, i was able to install both HDMIe and Optical Eye on this box. The second one will be used with another TV replacement in a nearby room, so I will not return it.

The design is attractive and the quality is excellent! Blu-ray player) and then connect a headphone to the audio amplifier via the headphone jack

In other words, it just does not cut, and it does not It is possible to create surround sound with 1 system. Basically, I bought this HDMI link switch, which inserts audio into fiber, coaxial SPDIF coaxial digital and left-to-right and digital fiber This output has RCA connectors on the right. A fiber amplifier is what I am using. The problem has been solved! Thank you. Now that I have an improved voice, I feel good. To meet my streaming needs, I have already used the second HDMI port for Firestick (ROKU works as well). In addition to being very reasonably priced, it also works well.

An old home theater system required what I needed
5/5

In my media room I have an old Sony BRAVIA 2005 that requires an input/output converter to play audio from my PC (which by the way, makes for some pretty amazing speakers that still work well after all these years). I use a projector in my media room, however I haven't tinkered too much with hooking the projector's input directly to the AV receiver. Moreover, even if I were to decide to replace the projector with a TV in the future, I would still be able to use this product since it supports HDMI equally I was pleased to see that the audio quality was the same as before. It did not show any signs of problems (static or any other kind), and is still in good working condition. In the event that my 2005 Sony home theater dies or needs to be replaced I may try splitting the outputs if I end up having to buy a new home theater. I highly recommend it for anyone who is interested in audio conversion.

I like it, but I don't like how the TV remote controls the volume
4/5

In order to connect my old receiver (no remote, no Toslink, HDMI, or ARC-- LG UHD (not OLED) TV, there is no audio A connection with the outside world. The ARC protocol allows me to control the volume of my TV from my remote control. In at least one review, the box was noted to do it, but it won't work for my LG either with or without CEC enabled. My plan is to either buy a new receiver with RC or a DAC that has its own RC and use Toslink from the TV to the This was too short for my setup, but it might be suitable for yours. Also, I don't know if it was 19+1, though that would be a good thing to know. Furthermore, at first, I was unable to use the device. I swapped cables and inputs on the receiver until it started working again. Having proved that the receiver worked in my own mind, I turned everything off and then turned the 3 devices back on - (TV, DAC, receiver) this is the way it works when the receiver works. After that, I was able to get.

This is an excellent adapter

To hook up my Bose PA system to my 55 inch TV, I needed to plug it into the system's USB port I did it just for fun. As a result, this unit did just The HDMI plug of my TV was connected to this unit, and the other end of my cable was connected to the Arc 3 port of my TV. I then connected the RCA cables from the adapter to my PreSonus mixer, which was plugged into the Bose PA system. Works perfectly as a TV sound bar, and gives me a different sound than a typical TV soundbar. Of course, I'm running the TV through a $5000 sound system, which is a little ridiculous, but I was curious how this would sound. I was not There is nothing better than a little box like this.

This is helpful

I am happy to have this thing for converting optical feed to headphone jack/digital. I am also using a 1x3 toslink powered splitter initially. However, I am not sure if it will convert to RCA analog from digital sources. I tried once and it did not work The buzz is just a loud noise. The *br*- This function appears to be inconclusive. In addition to being powered, I might want to repurchase this. As a note The volume is set to a loud level. The perfect solution. The audio is DTS Dolby @ 192 kHz and DTS. An amplified version of the original. A powered monitor can now be added. You can now listen to Heavy Duty Sound from.

The flowers are pushing up When it stepped up, it widened As they say, it was a bust There is no longer any such thing There is no longer any existence for it It reached the end of the line it passed away peacefully without a fight There is no longer any life in it. There was not much time left in its long and troubled life. The animal had been dead only a month before it was extinct.
