Here is how you can work around IR Code. This little device allows me to control the volume of the audio output from my video projector. The Amazon Firestick remote control can be linked to this device, but it is not ideal if you want to reduce the number of remotes. You can find the Firestick Settings by going to An Equipment Manager would be responsible for maintaining equipment You can watch TV here By utilizing the IR Protocols (Infrared for Power and Volume Control), you will be able to change the IR Code from the device your Firestick is plugged into. I was unable to get the IR code for this device to work when I contacted the vendor. The device appears to be compatible with the following IR codes after some experimenting The LG (4495), Visio (979), Agath (33) and AOC (61) are the most prominent. It does not, however, have a power control function or a mute, as in all four instances. On the Amazon Firestick remote, Volume Up is controlled by the "+" button and Volume Down is controlled by the Power button. It is not my preference to use this workaround, so I will stick to the remote control that comes with this device, though it is I hope you enjoy it!.

It wouldn't control the volume of my Harman Kardon Onyx Bluetooth speaker despite having Bluetooth enabled on the Vizio TV. The sound did not play on my computer without an aux output. When I searched for a solution, I found that I needed a digital to analog converter. Despite the fact that it worked, it had no volume control. I bought it at a big box store. I now have the ability to control the volume of the DAC box with the remote control.
