Questions & Answers

How long is the connector before it is compressed, and how long is it after it has been compressed?

1 5/16" prior to After that, it's 1 1/16".

What is the name of the country where you were born?

Taiwan. By far the best connectors I've come across. I've used one and it's always worked for me.

These were purchased for the rg- I'd like to experiment with rg 11 as well. Will they be compatible with RG 11?

They'll work as long as the cable diameters are similar. There's no problem with impedance.

It would be nice if the description stated that their tool is required
3/5

These are excellent connectors that have been well-designed. made, and I'm confident they'd be able to handle a variety of cable sizes. The fact that these aren't crimp-free was not immediately apparent. around- the- Klein's tool must be used to compress the cable in a linear manner (along the cable's axis). or, in my case, two pairs of vise-grips and a lot of cursing, because I had ten of them and no tool. SIgh. Would it kill you to ignore the glowing "these are the best connectors ever, no seriously, they're golden, and your life will be made incomparably better" nonsense in the description and simply state that you require the tool? br>br>fragrance br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br.

OH YES, THESE ARE EXACTLY WHAT YOU'RE LOOKING FOR
5/5

Sex is wonderful, but have you ever had a connector slide on so smoothly and crimp so securely that you felt like a pro? br>br>We have a lot of options in life. One of these options is to purchase coax crimp connectors. Other connectors require you to wrestle them onto the cable as if you were trying to force-fit them. You can get little tools to help you shove the connector on and read forum threads about people discussing their favorite tricks if you feed an angry anaconda. Or you can get these, which slide on like butter and crimp on solidly, and the dielectric (white stuff in the middle) always comes all the way up to the base, and you feel like you could do 100 more. br>br>My friends, make wise decisions. br>br>I had to redo half of the cable jacks in my house because the person who built it clearly made a mistake and crimped half of the connectors without fully inserting the cable. They weren't using this product! (I'm sure there are other good connectors, but I'm confident in these and will stick with them. ).

This is an excellent compression connector
5/5

This is an excellent compression connector. if you use one of their compression utilities, preferably the VDV212-based VDV212-based VDV212-based VDV212-based VDV212-based VDV212-based 008- Compact SEN F- Connector Crimper is a tool that is used to crimp connections between two If you use these connectors, you won't need to purchase their more complicated crimper. Competitors' strategy is to offer appealing, low-cost connectors that can only be used with their high-priced crimp tools. Klein appears to be fairly reasonable in offering the option of purchasing a simple, good, and reasonably priced compression crimp tool for their connectors.

working for the RG- I used this to make 10 cables (20 ends) today, and they worked great with RG-59
5/5

I have a Southwire compression tool (VDV212-1) that looks exactly like the Klein version. 008- SEN) with the exception of brown. These connectors, when used in conjunction with the compression tool and the Klein stripping tool (VDV110-VDV110-VDV110-VDV110-VDV110-VDV110-VDV110- The job was made a lot easier by 095). I would have bought a Klein "combo" if I hadn't already acquired the other tools. When the price difference between high-quality name-brand tools and no-name products is so small, I believe it is worth it to avoid the annoyance and frustration. Don't pull your hair out and waste twice as much time saving $5. Instead, have a cookie.

Be cautious when using broadband; I had trouble getting in
3/5

These were used in conjunction with a high-quality double-shield cable for Comcast commercial internet. After that, I had issues with the Internet not syncing. The coax had to be unscrewed from the edge device and then reattached. This happened on a daily basis a couple of times. Ingress leaks were detected by the meter, and all Klein connectors were replaced with PPC connectors, bringing everything up to code.

I've never had a better experience with a product
5/5

I really can't say enough about how fantastic these are. I've experimented with a variety of compression techniques. Before these, I had tried several different styles of barrel connectors, all of which were complete murderers on my hands. I had to slam them onto the ends of the cables with such force that I couldn't get more than four terminations done before I had to stop. I was also constantly concerned about the cables being damaged. br>br>However, these Klein connectors are ideal because they slip on so easily, and I only have to compress with a tool once to terminate, though I still do it a couple of times just to be sure. br>br>I still had a few dozen of my old connectors, but I threw them away after a single job terminating about 30 RG6 ends. They weren't even worth keeping on hand in the event of an emergency. I'd rather put off a job for a few days while I order more of these than risk killing my hands with the other connectors. Sure, they're more expensive, but they're 100% worth the money. Even before I knew how easy they were to work with, I could just feel the quality in the weight and see it in the construction. The other connectors I've used had a tin-like feel to them. These felt and looked like real metal, making a positive impression on my clients. Nothing else will suffice. br>br>Seriously, nothing else will suffice. I'm gradually migrating many of my networking tools to Klein and am quickly becoming a fan.

Without a doubt, it's a good investment
5/5

Prior to purchasing these, I tried Ace Hardware's RG6 Quad shield compression connectors, but no matter what I did, I couldn't get them installed on the cable; it's as if they were two sizes too small for the cable rating, and overall felt like very cheap construction, but I digress; this review is about these connectors, and these are a godsend! They fit my RG6 Quad shield cables perfectly and slipped on with little effort (using a flare tool made it even easier, but it wasn't necessary because they felt slightly oversized!). ), I achieved a 25% signal boost shortening my cable and I believe these connectors contributed to that cause they feel high quality (heavy for their size, thick steel shell? When my house is remodeled, I will definitely buy more. There's a job for you to do with cabling!.

During installation, something went wrong
3/5

Klein Tools VDV212- Using the Klein Tools VDV212- Using the Klein Tools VDV212- 008- Two of the first two connectors in the SEN Compact Compression Crimper failed during use. The connectors' outer casings have simply broken away from the rest of the connector and are sliding along the cables in both cases. These connectors had previously worked perfectly, but we recently received a new batch, and those are the ones that are failing. br>(I'm not sure what "Sheerness" or "Stretch" mean on Amazon; As a result, I did not fill them in. I'm sure they know what they're supposed to stand for, but I'm not sure. A pop-up shop, perhaps? To clarify, I've included a link.
